Surprisingly exceeded my expectations! While the motor inn may appear modest, the friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location made for a comfortable stay. The affordable rates were definitely a plus. Would consider staying here again

My experience at this hotel was really enjoyable and the staff were friendly. The place is surprisingly clean for a motor inn and the rooms were spacious with good water pressure and temperature.

We planned a trip for late July however had to cancel due to the NSW lockdown extension. The staff at Southern Cross Motor Inn handled everything really well. Their prices were very affordable, booking was easy, all my messages were answered promptly and even the cancellation process was a breeze too. Hopefully we can stay at your inn for our next snowy trip. Thank you for everything and keep up the great work!

This year, Sydney's COVID hard lockdown make it so difficult for everyone. People with young family like me got our ski trip(s) cancelled, wasting valuable time, efforts and money planned for the trip.
I'm sure that the business owner of Southern Cross Motor Inn also suffered a lot due to loss of bookings and no-cost cancellations. However despite this difficult times, this motel is willing to offer cancellations at not cost for clients like me. This is so heart warming and comforting. Although I've never had a chance to stay with this motel, but the friendly way that they handle their bookings and being so helpful for their customers would definitely make me come back next season and stay in this motel.
Let's look forward to season 2022.

Unfortunately we were unable to make our appointment due to the current Sydney lockdowns. The staff at Southern Cross Motor Inn were very understanding and flexible with our arrangement. After a few booking changes, our chance to make it to the snow this year was cancelled, of which the Southern Cross Motor Inn were very accommodating for. I look forward to staying there next time.

Unfortunately I needed to cancel my trip due to Victorian border restrictions and despite my booking being non-refundable, the owners graciously refunded the entire value with only one weeks notice.

The reason I booked was because of the excellent value and proximity to the ski fields and look forward to visiting in the future!

We were booked to stay overnight on our way to Perisher in July. Unfortunately the Covid lockdown in Sydney meant we were unable to travel and had to cancel. The staff were very easy to deal with initially for our booking and there was no problem with the cancelation. We will certainly have no hesitation in booking here again when things get back to some sort of normal.

Booked for a group of 16, unfortunately didnt make it due to the lockdown in Sydney. However, excellent service from the hotel..I was told its new management .Burton from the hotel did a great job in advising us of best room options and also managing the uncertainity while we shuffled the dates around few times, hoping to wait out the lockdown. We were given a free cacellation as well at the end. Would confidently book with Burton and southern cross again. Thanks!

Unfortunately had to cancel my visit due to COVID restrictions, but they were extremely accomodating, offering a full refund of the cost, during such a difficult time. Was looking forward to the stay, but definitely recommend this accomodation for anyone looking for a getaway. Can hopefully rebook a visit there soon, if the situation allows!

Although unfortunately due to COVID we didn't get to stay here, we'd like to say what a pleasure it was dealing with the owners/management. Considering the price, this place is pretty good. No 5 star resort, but has all the basics you'd want for a few days on the mountain. Clean & tidy, with good attitude staff.

What a beautiful little gem we found our little family to stay for our snow trip and the Staff was amazingly friendly the rooms where so clean and tidy plenty of hot water and very warm and cosy for those cold snowy nights highly recommend to any one looking for cozy warm and cheap accomodation

Friendly staff, unfortunately, we had to cancel our booking due to covid restrictions, but Burton was very helpful and helped me cancel my booking.

Services, heated room temperature, mattress, blanket thickness, ski equipment hire. The best that I have experience in skiing accomodation.
