Dilly Dally Subiaco

Delicious food, great atmosphere and good service. Extensive wine list with not many options on the cheaper side.
Every single dish was absolutely amazing and will be coming back here and recommending.
The pastas are divine.

Had dinner before a show at the Regal. Had the garlic bread with bone marrow and king prawns for entree. Both were delicious, best garlic bread i have had in a long time. Prawns were big and cooked to perfection. Mains had the smoked sirloin steak with roasted potatoes side. Anchovy butter was spot on, not over the top but gave beautiful umami flavours. Partner enjoyed fish of the day, which was Skin on Red emperor. Skin wasn't as crispy as would have liked but good size portion, and the panzanella was nice and fresh. Thought the service was good, initial staff who sat us done wasn't overly friendly but the young waitress who looked after us from then on was great, friendly and attentive. Would definitely reccomend and will be back for more.

Pleasantly surprised in every way by this gem of a restaurant. Genuine, friendly service and delicious modern cuisine. Pricey but there are plenty of smaller dishes to satisfy every budget and taste. It has a newly renovated feel with clunky polished floor boards and fresh decor. Recommend for a business lunch and when you deserve to go somewhere on the special side.

I'd call Dilly Dally underrated but if anyone sane rated it, they would rate it the five stars it deserves. Fantastic food. Amazing service. Gorgeous venue and the Italian wine list is to die for. A Tuesday night and still open at 10? Already killing the competition. Do yourself a favour and try it out. Thanks guys for a great night

A small group of us had a great lunch at Dilly. Service was excellent. Prompt and appropriately timely. The Angus steak was the best steak we had. Right amount of charness and full of flavour from the horse radish sauce. Perfectly cooked to medium rare. The roast potatoes were great too with a great aioli sauce. Will be back.

Lovely Italian restaurant. The real deal- the chef & the food. Had the grilled veal and fish of the day and grilled prawns. Helping wasn’t big but food as so fresh and well prepared. The veal was tasty & tender. The fish was seared to perfection. I had the blind corner orange wine. It was great paired with the food

There's everything to like here at Dilly Dally - a strongly Italian menu with a contemporary edge. A wide drink selection to match and the chance to have a digestif out back at Bar Loiter. :) Loved it.

We were given a little private room and it was the cosiest loveliest experience. Great wine selection. Great food. Very attentive staff.

We stopped in for lunch after a quick google search of restaurants in the area, and were definitely glad we came. Service was fantastic, and came with a professional but relaxed feel which we really liked.
The layout and overall vibe here was also great. Stylish and sophisticated, but edgy enough to make me feel comfortable.
We ordered a few small plates to share, and all of them were fantastic. We were in a rush this time round but will definitely be back for some more delicious food and drinks!

I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. The friendly staff immediately made me feel welcome, and the inviting atmosphere set the stage for a delightful meal. The food was a standout, with each dish offering a delectable fusion of flavors that showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. However, it's worth mentioning that the bar area out the back had an unfortunate odor reminiscent of farts. Despite this drawback, the overall dining experience was still enjoyable and left me with a desire to return.

The food was very good. I ate the octopus and would recommend. The environment of the place is calm and relaxing. The service was lacking but probably as good as it's going to get in Australia. The is a small air of pretentiousness about the place. You might feel uncomfortable is jeans and T-shirt.

Every dish was good. Good in its essence; not good because of the frills or fancies. Hugely recommend.

My BF and I came to Subi for the first time in a little while and we were not disappointed. Food was fantastic. Service was awesome. We did the set menu (five courses!) and we certainly didn’t leave hungry. It was great food. The staff were also really attentive. Gave a great recommendation for a bottle of Chardonnay.
As mentioned, it’s been a while since we’ve come to Subiaco! Great to see this venue thriving and we’ll be back again!!
One of the best dining experiences in a while.

Located in the old witches cauldron, I love what they have done with the place. The food is amazing and the feed me menu could easily feed your table and the one next to you. The wine menu was overwhelming with choice but the staff are really knowledgeable about what you are going to want. If you like tiramisu, they have a pretty good rendition

Great selection of beer and spirits and no bloody card surcharge!! That says something

Dilly-dally provides a wonderful dining experience. The food and service are excellent. The venue owner is friendly and welcoming. The menu provides a broad enough selection to satisfy almost any pallet. The wine list is extensive and there are some truly wonderful wines to choose from. The facility provides a comfortable and pleasant ambience.

A nice little restaurant but !!! They sat us on high chair around a tall table . This was not mentioned whole booking . Not great for seniors ! Asked for another table . Answer was no !

The food was great . I had a pumpkin pizza . Honestly the best pizza I have ever had . Delicious. So even though the circulation to my legs was cut of completely by the terrible chairs it was still a good night .
Service was good . Waiters were friendly and happy to be there

Staff were excellent.

Great food and service, the waitress was lovely and recommend lots of different wines for myself and my friends and let us try as many any we wanted. Also the pasta we had was amazing!
