Eva's Piano School

Eva is the BEST piano teacher: patient, gentle, empathetic, and so very knowledgeable. It is the greatest pleasure learning with her and rediscovering the beauty and complexity of the piano thanks to her. She is wonderful!

Eva is a fantastic piano teacher, she is patient and encouraging. She teaches me and my 8 year old daughter who loves her lessons just as much as I do and is always enthusiastic to practise at home. She offers both on line and in person lessons (and a combination) which really suits us and gives us a lot of flexibility when life gets in the way.

I’ve been doing lessons with Eva for about 8 months now. I came to her as pretty much a new beginner, and I’ve come quite far with just 30 minute weekly lessons. Eva is a patient and clear teacher who is genuinely a very lovely person. I would recommend her to any new beginner adults. You’ll progress a lot and she’ll support you to achieve any goals you have. All my lessons have been on zoom and she’s made it a very comfortable and easy experience and it has not impacted my progress at all. Overall it’s been a fantastic experience so far.

Eva is a wonderful teacher. Her preparation for lessons is carefully tailored to the individual and in my case, as a mature age student, she takes care to offer me all types of music that will extend my expertise as well as cater to the type of music that I like.
Over the years I have seen some of her young students and they obviously enjoy their lessons with Eva who is mindful of having a calm and friendly atmosphere in which they can learn.
She is meticulous about the preparations for her students who are taking music examinations and she has an excellent record
of successful results for them.

I have been fortunate to have Eva as my piano teacher since 2019, and began lessons in my retirement as a complete novice. It has been wonderful to continue my lessons, almost "face-to-face" via Zoom during Covid times. Eva can see and hear me playing quite clearly and always picks up where I can improve with practice. Eva has cameras set up overhead and from the side, so that I can watch carefully her technique. The sound has been excellent using an ordinary laptop here at home. It has been a wonderful way to continue learning, and Eva's patient encouragement really helped me during lockdowns. I have no hesitation in recommending Eva's lessons via Zoom at the moment, keeping us all safe. I will be glad to resume lessons in her studio, but in the meantime there is much to learn, so why wait?

As an adult student with no prior music knowledge learning the piano was a hidden dream for many years... a dream which Eva has helped me realise. Her patience and kind nature have helped me learn more than I could have imagined and made learning a true joy. This, coupled with remote lessons via zoom have helped me fit lessons into an already busy life, making it easier for me to prioritise this time for myself each week.
