Cape Bridgewater Bay House

This place is as close to perfection as I've ever found. The location is second to none; amazing views of the ocean and you feel cut off from the hustle and bustle of the real world. But the real draw is how cosy this place feels, especially in winter with the log fire going. It's large and comfortable enough for a large family to relax, beds are comfy and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Art work and little design touches work perfectly. It felt like home, rather than a holiday let and I haven't found anywhere since that matches this place for style and comfort. The beach is amazing too! A truly unique experience and I can't wait to come back here as soon as I have the chance.

This house is amazing. Nestled on top of the dunes with uninterrupted 180 degree sea views, it's beautifully designed but also super cosy and warm thanks to the wood fire and layout (loved that you can watch the ocean from bed, from the dining table, or best of all while lying on the couches in front of the fire). It also has direct access to a pristine beach, which we had all to ourselves. We loved our stay here, can't recommend it highly enough!

This house is a gem - not common to find a place in Australia that is a cross between a work of art and an engineering feat with a bit of history thrown in. More common in NZ. Love the location and love the house.
