West Oak Hotel

Called in here randomly for dinner before NBT at the Hindley Street Music Theatre. Fantastic service, sensational food (Wagyu steak special) have not had better for the price. 👌🏼

The staff: sexy and kind.
The food: $15 burger and chips on a Tuesday is great value. I got the fried chicken burger with peri peri to go and it was beautiful. The chicken, the cheese, the coleslaw, the sauce were beautiful.

I haven't eaten here but I've heard that the food is good pub food. West Oak is a convenient Hindley Street drinks spot. Last night all the fires were burning which was lovely. Great cocktails and friendly staff. A really nice spot.

Really Cool vibes and a great schnitzel. Chips looked like they were hand cut and most importantly were top notch. Definitely a pub feed worth getting around

Had the best gluten free burger here! It’s the first place I’ve been that has served a gluten free bun that is bigger than the ‘normal’ bun. This was a pleasant surprised as I am very used to paying extra for a smaller portion.

Great bite to eat at this cute pub before our concert at Hindley Street Music Hall. We braved the chilly weather to dine in beer garden. Food was fast and great and it was a really good vibe. Cauliflower salad was next level delish! Will definitely dine here again.

Moved back to Adelaide and went out for a drink with one of my mates who had just graduated and had the best night at West Oak and one of the bar guys were one of the best I have met Gabe and he was one of the best bar guys and gave us the best experience, but to make it even better I went out on a Thursday night with some mates and saw him again and gave us and was the best tender.
Will come come back here for the great service

Best lamb cutlets I have ever had, great atmosphere with amazing dinning experience, staff are so helpful, understanding and amazing.

They had a live DJ when we went on a Thursday night which went till late and was so much fun!

Great old school pub! Excellent group of lads working the main bar. Quick service and great banter! Fantastic food too! Best hamburger and chips I’ve had in a long time and only $15! If you only do one thing when you’re in Adelaide, and let’s face it, your options are limited, visit the West Oak!

Had a meal at The West Oak Hotel recently and really enjoyed their vegan parmigiana. The taste was on point and the salad that accompanied it was fresh and full of flavor. Good spot for a tasty meal. Will definitely be back.

Great food, value for money. Reasonable price for drinks

We had the balcony booked for a few hours on Friday night. It's always very clear when different areas are reserved. There were some groups sitting in the area when we arrived but they moved locations as soon as we arrived (the staff are so good at reminding you if you're sitting in an area that has been reserved at a certain time so suspect they may have reminded them). The staff here are always so friendly and helpful and the snacks and main meals are always so delicious. Staff regularly come to clear glasses and plates and make sure things are ok. It's a wonderful place to relax. Thanks to all staff 😊

Thursday schnitty day is hard to beat - $12 bux including a sauce/gravy. And the beef schnitty was so good - great size and the crumb is great - best I have had in a long time. Will definitely be back for another very soon.

Food was so yummy, i had chicken schnitzel which was one of best in Adelaide. Was still a bit hungry afterwards as serve was not so big, more chips and salad would be great. I didn't leave a crumb, it was great 👍

Happy hour Saturday afternoon (I think 4 until 6 or 7). Not overly busy. Nice chill out spot for a drink with friends.

Usually come here on Friday nights, and it’s very lively and nice. The mandarin cider was amazing! Great place to chill out after work.
