Great camping spot for all the family. I went camping there with my scouts group and ever since I’ve been wanting to go back. I would suggest the pyramids and the underground creek for hikes.

Great spot to camp. Quiet and tidy, toilets are very clean.
Usually the people there are hikers that go to sleep early and get up early, so unlikely to make much noise at all.
There are heaps of trails that start from around the campsite, from full day hikes to family friendly walks.
Do watch out for the bull ants (bulldog ants) as they are everywhere around the outskirts of the campgrounds and are very aggressive.

The best campsite I have ever been to. Hot showers and working toilets also lots of space provided and many walks like the pyramid and the junction. Also as a quick detour I went to see the granite arch.

We stayed for 2 nights 26-28 Dec in the tent area. Easy to book via QPWS website. Lots of available spots, perhaps QPWS set a lower quota due to Covid restrictions.
You can drive your car next to your spot. Each has a picnic table and a fire place (BYO woods). Also a flat ground for the tent. There is a water tap right in front of ours, which is handy for washing dishes, hands etc.
Good working toilets (3 males 3 females), there are shower cubicles but no shower/water due to draught.
Bald Rock Creek circuit entrance is accessible from the campground, which connects you to Granite Arch, and Pyramids trail. All worth the hike!
The rangers did regular checks daily (we noticed twice a day). Make sure you printed the camping tag to prove the booking.
Overall great area for camping, peace and quiet. Can be chilly at night so bring a jacket, even though we came in the middle of summer. Kangaroos might pay a visit in the mornings which is nice!

Separate camp grounds amongst boulders, easy gradient walk to Bald Rock Creek and the Junction, well worth walking down to joining with Ramsay Creek. Fun slides into pools. God's playground!

We took a short walk inside Girraween National Park last weekend just with our friends at Bald Rock Creek upto the arch and back. It was an easy walk (this is the 3 time we visited the place) and kids were comfortable walking on trails. Pyramid was a slightly harder one which we climbed on our last trip and omit on this considering the safety of the children. Nice walk and calming environment. Just enjoy nature !!!

Beautiful natural shaded campgrounds, with well maintained accessible tent sites, many with bbqs and tables in place. Clean amenities, flush toilets and hot showers and spectacular granite landscape from mountain tops to creekbeds to explore and marvel at.

Fairly level marked out gravel camp spots. You need to bring your own fire wood for the BBQ's as well as some tin foil or another clean plate to put on the BBQ. Toilets and showers were very clean.
