Woolworths Metro Kings Cross

Great small Woolies Metro food outlet on Darlinghurst Road next to the railway station. Huge variety of food options including hot takeout meals and fresh sushi and barista coffee and cakes. Good range of fresh fruit and veggie and supermarket grocery staples. Pretty amazing for the centre of Kings Cross!

Strange store layout but to there credit they have crammed alot of stock on to a bizarre floor plan. Shelves are all full, but the staff let it down coz ther know wer to b seen!! if you're claustrophobic this store is not for you...

Despite its compact size, it is a very well stocked supermarket. It takes a bit to navigate around the aisles but once I get my bearings it's pretty easy to find what I was looking for and the team here is always helpful. Other advantages here are that one can compare prices and products with the other major supermarket nearby. My favourite here is being able to get kangaroo steak which isn't available in the other Woolworths metro near where I live.

Handy location above train station. Love the specials. It’s more for a top-up rather than full shop. Easier to access than the nearby basement Coles.

It's a brand new Woolworths Metro store opened on 24/10/2018. Superb location right on top of the Kings Cross station. Finally there's a Woolworths near the Coles in Kings Cross Centre, so people can shop for discounted products at both supermarkets conveniently. The store is not big, but one should be able to find anything they want. It has a coffee and hot food bar as well.

Great selection of groceries at as expected great Woolworths prices. I think they have the best roast chicken in Sydney. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

I love going to the new Woolworths at Kings Cross the have a great selection of food as well as a Sushi bar and a coffee shop. The air conditioning keeps me cool while I shop too.

Very interesting store. Not the usual big neat shopping center rows, but very windy. Certainly a different experience. Very friendly security guard.

That is the best Woolworth I have ever been to and the cafe was cheap and lovely and the coffee was hot and foof was fresh every day and staff was very nice and friendly and helpful and the manager was nice and I have no fault at this place and easy to get to near the hostel. And motel.

I love this Woolworths, for such a compact shop there is a huge range of food. Always friendly service here.

This is not a full service Woolworths and there no intention that our would be. Having said this, it's perfectly great at what it sets out to do.

Easy accessible, wide range of products, fast check outs. Staff is very responsive and friendly.
