Loddon Falls

Take the steps on the left side for easy access to the waterfall. Take it easy cause the rocks in the bottom are sharp and can be slippery. The waterfall is beautiful and nice swimming hole.

Lovely place to enjoy nature. The falls were raging when we stopped here and it was cold, so sadly no swimming. The goat track down the cliff side is an experience and felt like an accomplishment. Not a spot for anyone with vertigo or a heights phobia 😉.

This place was mind blowing and I spent a very good time there and was worth it and I never been at Loddon Falls before I would go back there again

This place is very special. Reminded me of being a kid again and clambering over rocks and under trees!
Things to note before visiting:

The steps down are rocks. Some are up to the knee in height. There are no hand rails but plenty of rocks to rest the hands, except for the first little bit. I wouldn't suggest it for the elderly. Shoes with grip and ankle movement is a good idea.

There are no cleared spaces for a picnic, except for up the top where a rug to sit on would take care of that.

If you're planning on taking a dip, swimming shoes would be a wise investment because the rocks in the water are slippery and some a bit sharp.

Take your time! It's definitely worth checking out :)

Awesome views after a bit of a downhill trek, wear good shoes. Such a pretty area, the road in has a few potholes but easily accessible with a 2wd

It's a beautiful sunny day 😎 and not too far from the carpark to the waterfall and upper Loddon River. It is very stiff towards water but worth coming to see the view😃

Great pool once you get down there, pretty steep but a great walk. Great to paddle inflatable boat in. Also currently a 1km walk in from the carpark as gate is locked.

The beautiful scenic surrounds. A little walk from parking area. Watch the edges as has drop off' s. Slippery edges. Still wonderful rock walls

Lovely walk down to the falls and around. Great place to spot birds and small wildlife - lots of Roos on the hill to the far side of the falls.

a bit of a walk and a trek... short but not particularly easy... no laid track and its a tad rough... but well worth it!

Beautiful spot for a swim! The waterfall was much bigger than I thought, and it was the middle of summer when I went.

The way down to the waterfall is tricky, so keep that in mind.

Beautiful quiet off the beaten track. Goat path to get there but worth it. Not suitable without decent shoes and under 6 or over 60

The pool formed from the falls is great. Bit of trek and may be hard for some, but worth the effort.
