Tarragal Caves

Very steep but views are great once you reach the top. Not really much to see, weathered but still pretty cool! Couple of kestrels were hanging about as well!

No information about the cave but certainly some fascinating aboriginal history here. Want to know more about it. Different chambers. Worth visiting and use your imagination!

Great cave in the side of the hill. Steep walk up and down. Worth it when you get there and the view of the lakes.

Close to road, great spot for picnic

Steep and a bit slippery way up but it is worth the effort. Give yourself enough time to follow the path to the rightmost cave, it has different features and delicate vegetation inside.
The views of the lakes and coast are stunnig.
The caves show drip features: stalactites, stalagmites and shawls, a bit dried up by open air. there are also hot water features as oolites, honeycomb and hanging columns.

Interresting place to visit with the Bridgewater lakes right across it where you can enjoy some water sports in the lake or have a picnic. The views across to the lakes and see when you get up to the caves is really beautiful. The caves themselves are an interesting part of history and nature. Worth the steep walk up to the caves though.

Very steep, but short, path up to the cave. Don't underestimate it if you have terrible balance like me; because it was raining, I opted to shuffle back down on my bum.

A beautiful spot with a great view out across the lakes. Worth the effort if you are comfortable making the short climb.

Such an interesting little spot in the middle of nowhere. Well preserved cave. Getting up can be tricky because there's no stairs so it's just an uphill dirt track.

Blink and you will miss it. Amazing natural formation, well worth a visit.

This place was so cool .. and view from the caves towards the Bridgewater lake was awesome

No signposted but easy to see if you're looking for them. Loads of people would drive by without even seeing them

Quite steep, some bees, lovely cave formations. Easy to miss when coming down the hill they are immediately opposite the road to bridgewater Lakes.

Fabulous caves up at the top of the hill and visible from the road. The walk up to the top is quite steep, but there's some great views once you're there. You can walk along the top of the hill to the adjacent caves too. Parking is fairly limited on the side of the road, but visitors generally don't stay for too long.

Magnificent view. No crowds. Easy access. Great for nature enthusiasts and photo lovers.
