Shelly Beach Retreat

Felt like going to my own beach house only in a much more beautiful location. Loved everything about it. Saw a whale from the deck as we sat sipping our wine. Magical.

Great views and amazing tranquility make this a truly relaxing and calming place to stay. Facilities are very homely and add to the experience

Ripper views, second to none

I have traveled the world and much of Australia and stayed in a variety of accommodation types. Always expect and got what I paid for...be it cheap budget or 5 star. Never have I got cheap budget for 5 star price ......until Shelly Beach Retreat.
It has a 5 star view and location and a price to match but the facilities are definitely not worth that price tag. The house is old and outfitted with handmedown rejects. Dirty kitchen except for a quality dishwasher which cleaned the everyday crockery and cutlery but other items would not use at all. Clean sheets was a bonus but old worn towels were pass their use by date. Speaking of which, pantry had old pass use by date opened and half used packets and bottles. Broken flywire screens on doors and windows. Way overpriced for what you get unless you think a good view is worth it all.
