We loved staying here for 3 days in our slide in our camper. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Excellent access to walking tracks. The beach is quiet and fabulous to walk along.

Excellent spot to camp. We spent a weekend there and kids loved it. Lack of vegetation and trees would make it difficult to stay there in hot weather. We were lucky that it was an overcast day and weather was really nice for outdoor activities. Facilities are really well maintained. If you are planning to have multiple tents, pick site 9 and 10. They are next to each other. If alone, camp site 4 is the best as it has some trees that can offer a bit protection. But don't expect much as they are north facing :). Beach is very close and really awesome place. Lake is really awesome, clear waters and great for a swim.

Looks like a great spot to camp, the amenities had a flushing toilet and were kept very clean, the camp grounds are well looked after and well maintained.
You do need to bring your own fresh water supplies..
To be honest we just stopped in there for lunch while we were out exploring the region...
Might have to spend a bit more time in the area and maybe organise a weekend there to get away from it all...

Just a day trip to check it out. No one camping when we went but would be a great place to stay. Beach is a little far though

Too many campers when i was there so left. Dont like being boxed in near campers, cramps my style. Plus i think rangers expect you to pay. I just drive up the road in the bush better. Its a very good water lake to visit though and a good track to walk around if no one is there like last time. Sandy soil bit rough track going in lots of pines.

Very nice campground with 2 drop toilets. Commercialised and ruined by Parks Victoria, why can't they just leave things alone?

Note* all you selfish ignorant people who stayed in site 4 and don't deserve the countryside or to be allowed in it. I picked up your rubbish, including a whisky bottle and a lot of discarded plastic and a cheap chair bag before I even set up camp.

The camp itself is quiet although people just drive through for a look and the sites are right next to the road. Apart from that, I had the site to myself but, I could imagine that it gets busy in school holidays, though. One of the better 2WD access sites I've visited. Thanks goodness, for river crossings.

No, I wouldn't go back.

Stayed 3 nights, saw 2 snakes, 1 went right through our camp site!! Looked like an agro brown snake to me so watch out! Otherwise, bring a 4x4, your own water, and don't count on mobile reception here...
