Nindigully Pub

Great atmosphere, stacks of memorabilia, friendly staff, interesting conversation about the history of the pub, it apparently originated as a Cobb & Co station/depot. Easy place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon and enjoy a cold XXXX Bitter

A little damp when we were there but certainly an iconic part of the area.
So glad we managed to camp there a couple of nights.

Oldest liscensed pub in Australia. Well worth the visit. So much to see in the pub itself. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Gluten free pizza was ok. Then you can take a walk around outside at the River and learn about the history of the place and its surroundings.

Great place to camp up. Even has toilets and a dump point.

Great historic pub on the banks of the Moonie River. Free overnight camping along the riverbank, shady sites available. Toilets available and gold coin donation for a shower at the pub.

The pub has loads of character and charm, with lots of room for large groups. Good range of pub food at reasonable prices, most importantly, the beers 🍻 are icy cold 🤠

Awesome iconic QLD pub in what feels like the middle of nowhere.

Red dirt and the Moonie river surround this classic corrugated iron building with large verandas.
A very large green lawn and well shaded beer garden to one side.
Plenty of history and quirky memorabilia to look at on the walls.
Happy hour and cold beer, blue skies and warm sunshine,
that's QLD.

Apparently used as a set on the 90s movie, paperback hero with a young Hugh Jackman.

Stayed in the free camp area.
Which has excellent toilets and a dump point.
Plenty of space for all.

Well worth the stay here if you are in this part of QLD, well worth it!

Would be a great winter stay for a few days at least.

Love this pub, always have! Definitely grown over the years. Best way to experience this little pub is to just go there! Right on the Moonie river, plenty of room for caravans & the like. Great place for a stop over 👍🏽 p.s. food only got 3 🌟 as I haven't eaten there in years.

Fantastic outback style pub with a great beer garden. Lots of space to camp around the pub or up & down the banks of the Moonie river. It's mostly sand/dirt but not a problem when it's dry & plenty of trees for shade.

Great atmosphere free camping hot showers and toilets. Wonderful river front location. You can have a fire. Long wait for food but the atmosphere made up for it.

Amazing pub full of history along the banks of the Moonee River.

Beautiful pub to stop in for a feed and a cold beer.
Recommend having a look around as there are some very interesting pieces of history around the pub.
The staff are really great as well.

Hotel rooms are fine, comfy beds and lovely and clean.
There is one nice shower for the guests
Toilets are shared with the pub and are in need of a tidy up but are usable.
Roadtrain Burger was magnificent, five of us got through about half of it

What a great place to kick back and unwind… or wind up ha. Free camp at the doorstep, staff are great, showers are gold coin donation, toilets inside and outside of pub.
Don’t forget to donate to the royal flying Dr in their unique way, ask at the bar.

Wow! After a bit of a drive this place is like an oasis in the desert. Entering the pub is like going back in time with lots of interesting memorabilia on the walls and a dining room with sloping floor. The beer garden has plenty of space and has a small playground for kids.

The 1.5kg steak sandwich was a classic! Definitely worth the detour to check this place out, even if only to see if you can get through the steak sandwich.

The kind and courteous bar staff were helpful in getting our food and beverages. We sat on the outside verandah seating to eat and drink. It was a really nice pub at the end of a road. Large carpark for trucks and cars. I liked the cow statue and the graffiti name on the toilet block.

Excellent pub situated in the outback. It's the oldest licensed pub in Australia. Well worth a visit & a stop over if drinking. My niece & I stayed the night with friends. Live music on the Saturday we visited. Food available & usual Aussie beers.

I heard so much about this pub that I just knew that it would be good.
Well it was better than good. These are the places that make travelling around Australia special. It’s great to spend time with other travellers but it’s even better when you get to meet the locals and have a few beers at the outdoor bar and enjoy a meal in the beer garden.
The night was topped up even better when we went back to our room and found it was the only one with air conditioning which was such a bonus. We will be back and bring more travellers to enjoy the atmosphere.
