Stonelea in Glenlyon

My partner and I had a really nice stay at Stonelea. Listening to the crickets and frogs at night and waking up to the sun and view was gorgeous. The house is warm and cosy, like cute little country quirks that make it feel like a true escape from city life. Peter was very welcoming and offered lots of local places to eat and visit. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Stonelea was a great home away from home. It had everything you needed and didn't need to go to far. It was great even in the wet weather, sitting by the fire and playing games, or watching TV.
The wildlife greeting us in the morning was wonderful, sitting in bed and just watching the sun come up.
We will definitely stay here again, when in the area of Daylesford.
The hosts are wonderful and help in anyway needed. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

Wonderful visit. Fabulous gardens, beautifully laid out and tended with love, enhanced by the relaxing sound of running streams. Friendly and accommodating hosts who clearly love the place. Quality fittings, amenities and appointments (e.g. toaster, toiletries). Easy to get to and plenty of parking. A great place to wind down, with Daylesford not far away if you want to eat out or shop. Definitely a good vibe.

Highly recommend Stonelea. From Peter's warm welcome on arrival to the beautiful gardens and the natural fauna and flora you immediately feel calm and at ease.
The amenities, cleanliness and personal touches are first class. On departure, you wish you could stay longer, a very hard place to leave.

I just love this place. This is my 3rd visit with my daughter and it just keeps getting better. The ever changing and ever growing garden is something I always look forward to seeing. The hosts are so friendly and had everything so perfectly ready for us. I love the peace and quiet and the opportunity to just chill and relax or to go to Daylesford is amazing. I highly recommend coming here. I know I’ll definitely be back :)

We had such a great stay at Stonelea. The inside was so clean & comfortable, and the gardens outside and views were simply magical. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay. Hosts are so attentive and the obvious pride they take in the whole property and the attention to detail made our stay so easy and enjoyable.

Excellent all round, friendly owners, great location. Beautifully decorated and appointed.
