Visited Stonefields Estate today.
I have been trying to book a tour for years then my daughter surprised me with a reservation for a Christmas gift. It was well worth the wait!!
The gardens are truly magnificent!
Thanks Paul for sharing, it was really special.

Magic! Every corner was gorgeous. I'm feeling so inspired and can't wait to give my garden a makeover. I particularly appreciated the signs with names of the plants and garden plants. Highly recommend visiting.

A credit to Paul Bangay - if you have the opportunity to visit, grab it - an amazing property with incredible views, enthralling garden rooms of all types - both practical and whimsical of epic proportions. Loved it .

A stunning garden experience that is well worth the trip. Clever Architecture meets Garden design.
Don't rush to get in side, the garden starts as a controlled Natural landscape that slowly reveals the Stonefields Gate house, tucked just over the ridge line.
And you haven't as yet even entered the garden proper.
I can name a dozen European gardens that I've visited that are not as good as Stonefields.

Spend the day exploring one of Australia's most beautiful country gardens. There are seven acres of garden, boasting terraced parterres, white garden, blue perennial entrance borders, apple walk, circular woodland garden, walled rose garden, rear terrace with sweeping country views, twin pool lawns and an established vegetable garden.

Gardens are like a local nursery. Nothing amazing. Just few hedges and pools, plus salads and potatoes. Not worth going. It's a rip off like a tulip festival. Just a money grab. If you want to see beautiful gardens drive 3 min to forest glade in Mount macedon. They are absolutely stunning and just only 10$ per head. Not 40$ like here.
