East Warrnambool Fish & Chips

King George Whiting is beautiful & fresh. So are the chips. Highly recommend this eatery. Staff are friendly as well.

This is now my go to for Fish & Chips. Ring & order & it's generally ready on time & the oil is always clean so my chips & potato cakes are always crisp & golden

The fish and chips here are so fresh and crispy! The fish meat is also thick and tasty. More importantly, not overly oily ! It is healthier that way . It taste really good ! I will definitely come back . Worth every penny spent !!

We were very limited with options on a Monday public holiday, but were super happy to find this gem in a back street. It's not for dine in, but our takeaway was ready quickly, the staff friendly and the food was great. Fish was fresh, potato cakes were huge and chips perfectly crunchy. They even managed to survive the 20mins in the car back to where we were staying which is a big tick for us.

Brilliant quality fish, chips, potato cakes and dim sims. We only have fish and chips a couple of times a year and to get what you want and fresh to boot.

We had a GREAT dinner meal from here 2 nights ago. Excellent chips, fried flake, calamari rings. Burger was delicious. Teenagers & parents all fans.

Some of the best fish & chips we’ve had in a long time! Chips were perfectly crunchy and soft inside, flake was a decent size and batter wasn’t too heavy! YUM!

Delicious Fish & Chips plus Potato Cakes (Potato Scollops) at Nicholson Street. Friendly, fast, efficient service every day. Also Hamburgers, Steak Sandwiches, Dim Sims etc available. Highly Recommended ~ what more can I say! Ken

Very happy. Battered fish was crispy and flavoursome, chips were just right with plenty of salt, crumbed prawns and scallops were a decent size, very well priced. 100% recommend!!

Moderate portions, reasonable price, but particularly excellent chips. Grilled flake was firm and flavourful.

Looked for a f&c spot on zomato and found nothing. Found this on google instead. So glad we did.

Ordered a $6(.50?) snapper and got this monster of a fish fillet! So fresh we could almost taste the fish's last breath! Fantastic value-for-money and great quality! Would come back again.
