We visited for dinner around 9pm and it was too late to have table outside. This was first time had table in the restaurant but it was very comfortable and food was excellent. Always the best restaurant in the town. If you have table on terrace it is much better.

A restaurant with history. With emphasis on high-quality dishes. All ingredients from regional suppliers. A good selection of home-style dishes tailored to the season. There has been a clubhouse with an integrated restaurant since April 1905. 1906 was then according to the plans Characteristic elements of the house are the half-hip roof, the steep gable, the half-timbered structure and the attic house. In 1930 the house and restaurant became the property of the state capital Bregenz. The building has been a listed building since 1995.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with great views on lake Constance. We came here with a bachelor party and the service was absolutely amazing. Very funny staff, really nice food and delicious food.
Good presentation of the food too. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant to everybody!

Came here with my wife and customers earlier this week. Superb local dishes, especially the fish. Great atmosphere and staff and the owner, Martin will take great care of you.

The food was great and the service was quick and friendly.
The location is certainly adding to the experience of course.
A bit pricey but it isn't every night, right!?

Excellent food and service, great location steps from the lake.

Fantastic location, close to the Bay Area of Bregenz and the city (small) center and the famous pfänderbahn (a 15-20 min walk). Not too pricy unless you’re looking for 10€ lunch which you won’t find here. Make a reservation to get a good place. Great local unfiltered beer called Martinus Bier. Enjoy !

The food was delicious! Excellent pork schnitzel, great ofenkartoffel and heise liebe. Service was also perfect and the views were lovely. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.!

Restaurant on the banks of Lake Constance.

The most interesting part of this restaurant is the view of the lake. And the views are indeed stunning. The service was also amazing. The food was also pretty good. All in all, a good place for a nice dinner with a view of Lake Konstanz.

The location is marvelous, of course - we were delighted by the delicious salads, soups and the Apfelkuchle - each dish presented beautifully, and the creative twists on traditional local dishes like Leberknödelsuppe are fantastic. We would return here in a heartbeat - great service and value, gorgeous space! Thanks, team at Wirtshaus am See!

Service is excellent and super friendly very nice location for eating by the water and romantic in the evening. Generous portions and fantastic quality food.

Very tasty, high quality food, good variety of items, everything is quickly prepared and served.
We were impressed with brilliant service, the waiters are super attentive, kind, very friendly and willing to assist with any requests even if it is a local sightseeing query (which isn't within their job description).
Breathtaking view, center location, nice crowds, super family friendly.
Definitely a recommend. Worth a visit and every penny spent. Keep it up, guys, you are doing wonderful!

Fantastic cream of asparagus soup and pork schnitzel. I don't believe they ever understood that I was asking for an alcoholic cider, I was served a giant glass of apple juice. 😁 Lots of cigarette smoke on the patio. Location was great, would have been beautiful if it wasn't pouring.

We took our 95 year old great aunt here for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The location is beautiful and the food is also very good.
