Absolutely stunning building. Entry is 5 euros. Worth a visit to see the beautiful art work & masonry. My husband is a joiner of 45 yrs & commented on 1: there wasn’t alot of wood used & 2: what would there was the carvings were beautiful!

The building was stunning, with lofty ceilings filled with art. There are 4-5 different organs and we attended a Christmas concert with a duet between a saxophone and organ that was gorgeous. So much to see!

Great ornated cathedral well worth the entry fee. Come at noon for an organ concert from some of their 7 organs. Also get a good history of the cathedral

This cathedral is the most important church in Salzburg with seventeenth-century architecture. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to enter it if you just want to visit it when there is a religious ceremony there unless you sit in your seat until the end of the ceremony.

Salzburg Cathedral is the most important sacred building construction started on 1614. With its mighty dome and two towers, and in front of it the grand Cathedral square “Domplatz” and in the middle of square there is “Mariensäule” the statue of the Virgin Mary.

This was our favorite cathedral on the visit to Munich and Salzburg. I would highly recommend a visit.

A Cathedral built in 1628 on the Italian Baroque style so it reminds you of Florence Cathedral. impressive interior design with exterior doms and towers. underground historical foundations of the church still kelt for visitors. 142m long and 33m high at the crossing dome.rebuilt after ww2. entrance 5€/adult. you can see the Cathedral from different spots in the old Town so make sure to see all the angles.

Literally the most breathtaking cathedral I've ever seen! Moreover I had the chance to assist to the organS concert "music at noon" which was really impressive. It's a must when visiting Salzburg.
