This area was just so phenomenally beautiful and looked as though it was just a postcard photo waiting to be taken around each corner. DO take the Gondola/Tram to the top of the mountain and have a nice bite to eat while exploring. The restaurant up top was affordable....with beyond Amazing views! 6 stars out of 5!!!

That’s an experience! Try to fly like an eagle. Kids from 10 y.o. And 130 cm. As a family we enjoyed it a lot!

Wow! An amazing experience! It's a must for thrill seekers! Basically it's a giant zip line that goes almost to the top of the mountain and then shoots you down.
Before getting to the AiRofan, you need to get to the mountain by cable car first..

Amazing experience !! Must do activity when you are in Tirol. It costs just 13 euro per head but the fun is too much !!

The important part to understand is that the ride up the mountain is only the beginning. Then you start exploring the mountains and meadows around, stay hours up there. A simple ride up and down is fairly pointless and expensive, the immediate view alone does not justify. Get your hiking boots and go explore, once on top.

Great view, great drinks, nice hikes!

I visited on the starting day of the summer season. When we reached the top, the views were so good and the whole mountain top was covered in snow. There are many mountain trails that you can take once you reach the top. Unfortunately we couldn't do hikes as it was covered in snow and the weather was not favourable.

Centrally located, the Rofan cable car is an excellent way to head up the mountain and enjoy the spectacular views of Achensee and surrounding mountains. At EUR22 for a return ride, it's cheaper than Zugspitze. There are a number of restaurants at the top, as well as the start of several hiking trails (including to a small lake and another all the way to the mountain summit).

Cable car to the mountains. The waiting time to the next car may be as long as 15 minutes.
The parking fees are reduced from the ticket price -if you bring the parking receipt

Beautiful place for hiking/via ferrata climbing

Great location, easy to reach. Lots of parking available. Parking ticket is also a voucher for discount for lift tickets. Departures every 15 minutes. Reaches the top station in about 9 minutes.

Friendly staff and they can speak English. The attraction was amazing you must try it.
