This place was pure magic, especially as I got to experience it all by myself in the early morning. The waterfall is beautiful and the paths are relatively easy I enjoyed the hike and the view tremendously.
Advice: go as early as possible to avoid crowds.majestic hidden gem!!
The walking trails, the river flow and the amazing water falls is just breathtaking,,
It was a great experience,,
With reasonable admission prices,,
Best time is as early as you can, so you get the whole view, and less visitor allowing you to get great personal pictures,,

A stunning waterfall, a hike in the nature full of history.
Lots of view points to stop and take a photo.
Lots of stairs to make the blood flow.

Low entrance fee and lockers are available to leave equipment you don't need and a place to leave the baby strollers that won't make it through that journey with all the stairs. So that's it, Gollinger Falls, yes, you have to walk, yes, there are many steps and yes, each step reveals a wonderful and stunning place. Our plan was to spend about two hours there, "we got stuck" for over 4 hours. Although most of the images you will find on Google are quite similar, it is still an experience that cannot be conveyed in a picture or video and you must be there yourself to understand. A perfect experience of walking in nature.

Simply gorgeous, we recommend!!

The waterfall itself is stunning, as well as the hike to the top. Make sure to wear hiking shoes, as some parts are very steep and slippery due to the water spray from the waterfall. I loved how you could hike up and watch the waterfall from different point of views!

Parking is available for a small price. A kind driver gave us his parking day ticket. After we finished, we passed the ticket on as well. You pay for the whole day, so might as well pass it on ;)

From the parking spot it’s a short walk to the entrance where you pay €3 pp (reduced prices for kids/students). There is a free toilet and you can buy some drinks/snacks and souvenirs.

Tips:
Wear hiking shoes & jacket to protect you from the water spray.
Dogowners: there are quite some stairs, so might not be good for a dog’s back. Also there are some metal roster parts where you might have to carry your dog.
Pass on your parking tickets, it makes everybody happy!

Nice waterfall although big part of the trail is currently closed going up, but you can still have a good look at nearly every level to the waterfall. The top part is closed so it cant be viewed from above but there can be great pictures taken from the ground level or as you walk up.
Because half the trail was closed we only payed 3€/adult not 5€ which was a suprise but they know you miss out a part so i guess its fair this way. The restaurant is closed next to the entry and the place is not crowded although there are small time frames where a big group comes in its mostly quiet and nice to walk around.

Beautiful waterfall, you can see it from top to bottom, there is also one bridge in the middle. It is worth each cent of the entrance fee of 5€.
nearby parking is for 5€ per day.
It takes approximately 2 hours from parking and back and is suitable for all people who can overcome a small hundreds of stairs, and I would recommend not using sandals but close shoes.
If you decide to use the entrance as an exit, you should go downstairs along with the visitors who are going up at this time, and for overcrowded days, it shouldn't be convenient.

Beautiful waterfall with water split over green and dark rocks. Very special sights. 10 minute walk from the parking. Another half hour walk with a lot of stairs and climbing but it’s worth seeing different angles of the waterfall

Absolutely a magic place. One of the best waterfalls I have ever seen the hike is sublime. The air is fresh and the waterfall just brings an overall sense of calmness. Only negative is that it was officially closed however people still got in and enjoyed the beautiful nature

I nice 1 hour activity. The walk is quite steep with lots of steps. Entrance fee is 5 euros per adult and parking costs 5 euros per day. Luckily some strangers passed us their ticket and we parked for free.

Amazing place, very easy to reach and then you can start a more hardcore hike, thereby the trail can be dangerous after the bridge. Some points are closed. Right it says they are closed but some people were entering anyway - the reopening will happen in 21.04.23 and it costs around 5 euros to enter

Beautiful waterfall.
It takes about 20-25 minutes walking from Golling HBF to the entrance.
There is a fee of €5 and a little store where you can get some refreshments if you need.
To get to the waterfall is about 10 more minutes.
You can keep on going and get above the waterfall.

One of the best waterfall I have been to...Its always better if you have a bicycle with u or if u rent a car..The treck is short but enjoyable, you can enjoy picturesque mesmerising waterfall views... There's a small burger shop there,if u hungry u can have a huge sized burger at just 5 euro...This waterfall is specially beautiful during autumn & summer..

Abtenau area is a good mix of lots of activities and visiting this waterfall makes it even more worthy.
The best part about this waterfall is that it’s kids and pets friendly as you don’t need much hiking parking lot is 10 minutes away from the waterfall.

I thought it was only one fall but it is an amazing complex of falls. The tracks are safe and well indicated. Nice place.

Lovely natural scenery. There are short and long walking routes. The entrance is paid, closed for the duration of the covid restrictions. Beautiful lakes are nearby, free access. Upper parking for free, lower camping and parking for 5€/day

Review to the bottom of the waterfall only:
We went to the waterfall as it was only a 10 minute walk from the parking. The route, although short (only took 10 mins), is very bumpy. There is a handrail along the uneven section which was very useful for people hard of walking.
I would not recommend taking a buggy or wheelchair, however a wheelchair user who walks around the house should be able to manage the walk.

Beatiful waterfall, or sets of waterfalls really. Absolutely worth it to go all the way to the top, and also take the branch off to Witch's Cauldron. Sign said it was a thirty minutes walk to the top, but with two (eager) kids it took us about a quarter hour. We visited on a hot day, the air and spray around the waterfall was a welcome cool subclimate.
