Camping Martina

We got caught in torrential rain on our bikepacking trip, and the owner and staff were so welcoming. Let us stay and extra night, gave us warm blankets and lent us gear for our tent. Would definitely recommend, and in a spot very close to town too.

Very friendly staff! Showers and toilets clean. Train track runs close but we did not mind it at all. Walking distance to the town. Fresh bread in the morning!

Last minute message we could not go to our destination in Kärnten for another few days due to bad weather. Fortunately we could stay for 2 nights with 2 big caravans on this nice small camping in Golling (as we did a few years earlier when we visited Berchtesgaden). Big Thanks to Mr. Schönauer for his flexibility in hosting us.

We called very last minute and we asked if it was a problem if we pitched our tent ⛺ last minute.

The staff members had a general "can-do" mentality so naturally they made it happen. 👍

We got a nicely shaded pitch with soft grass and a view of the surrounding mountains. 🌲 🗻

There is a lovely waterfall nearby which is definitely worth the small hike. Also there is an ice cold stream and lake nearby which was also nothing but lovely! 🏞☘🌳

Overall a nice and clean camping, would recommend!😄✨

Nice site for us, great views. Clean facilities and the owner serves coffee and cake.
Town has some great buildings typical Austrian, stunning.

Owner is really nice. If you're staying for a longer period, then be wary that there will probably be some noise in the morning when everbody leaves

Very nice campsite and very helpful staff. We have a trailer tent and when we arrived the weather was very bad but instead of putting up the tent he give us a room a much appreciated room. I will definitely go back and recommend it to anyone.

This camping was our first station on our bike tour, it was really nice and super, the view is amazing, facilities are clean. Apple cake for breakfast was sooo delicious, thank you again for your kindness!

The town looks great in February, low tourism though so little to no activity, i went to the water fall and it was perfect with the snow , and the view was incredible and entrance was totally free duto winter , had the best time there,
What i recommend is stay at salzburg ,and get a train ticket it costs like 7 euros if you alone and 5 if you are two with only 30 minutes and a atrain every half an hour or so that way you avoid listening to the trains noise if you stay the night

Great little campsite in a beautiful small town. Martina didn't speak a word of English but we muddled our way through and she doted on our children.

Its quite nice there, its cheap, has toilets and showers and if you walk a bit you will find many restaurants
