If you drive around on Tauern Autobahn (E55) do not hesitate and take the exit to Gmünd and visit this awesome place.

Small but very impresive museum showcasing some very important Porsche cars, from Le mans winners to old classics like 356. The entrance fee is 9€ per adult visitor and is worth it. The shop has a nice selection of souvenirs.

If you are a petrolhead this little former Porsche factory is a must visit. Staff was very friendly, we've even received a small gift at the end.

Today I visited this small stunning museum with the beginnings of Ferdinand Porsche. Don't expect a huge museum with the topic of what Porsche is today. This story over there is about a past chapter. Especially the passionate movie where Ferry Porsche and Luise Piëch have been interviewed about the history of this awesome company. It makes you feel what kind of pioneers they were at that time. It has nothing to do anymore with what it is today. A company to offer cars for everyone's taste in all segments. After I visited this "museum" I felt really blessed 😊

If you’re a Porsche enthousiast and you’re living in Europe, or visiting you should come and visit this private owned museam in Gmund, Austria. The actual roots of Porsches first manufactured examples. The staff is kind and well familiar with the cars. My girl and I where heading to Croatia from the Netherlands when we saw this sign Porsche Museum, on the side of the road. On our way back we visited the museum and I am definitely planning to come back.

A great and interesting museum. “Cozy” due to size but very detailed and a lot of effort was put into it. Interesting movie about the development of the brand and technology. Easy parking and free with the Kärnten card.

Good oldtimer porsche cars, engins, parts with good conditions, entrace fee 8 eur, showing the history of the famous german enginier works the from sawmill generator to the carrera gt modell across the porsche farm tractor. Porsche funs is necesary cult place.

Very nice museum.

A museum with loads of history about Porsche and Volkswagen, in addition to the Porsche museum in Stuttgart. Both showcase Porsche in a completely different way. Specifically, the museum displays the history in the most vulnerable way and doesn't try to hide away from what happened in World War 2. It's a definite must for all Porsche and car lovers!

Amazing collection! one of the most famous and fascinating in the world.

Very nice privat collection in one demanding exhibition. There are number of old timers and some new sport cars in the small museum. It is an offered place if somebody likes the cars or the Porsche brand.

It's a small cozy museum. We visited it on a weekday and at the last working hour, so it wasn't busy, and we could take lots of pictures from different angles.

I always visit this museum while on holiday in Kärnten and everytime new cars were added to the collection. The museum shows the history of Porsche, wooden moulds of the 356 and this times' highlight was the 919 Hybrid which raced in Le Mans.
