We knew going in it would be pricy… but it was worth every penny! Service was first class, food was exceptional and the atmosphere was upmarket without being pretentious.

The Coq au Vin was delicious. I was tempted to get the Filet de Bouf and I’m sad I didn’t. It looked amazing…

Excellent choice for a special dinner.

@ Beste Atespare: We were the group of 2 sitting at a table for 4 (actually 6) - well we were waiting for another 4 people to come… and you didn’t even ask if you can sit with us! And btw you didn’t want to move the table a few cm… you wanted to put that table 4 meters to the space that is supposed to stay free for pedestrians. PETRUS is the BEST PLACE in Bregenz to have a wonderful time - with just a drink or/and delicious food - and very nice and helpful service! Always remember: Acting nice and friendly helps a lot to be treated the same way! 👍

Food, service and interior design is great. Get some mussels and the steak. Good wine selection too. Would skip the deserts, but still five stars for me. Happy to come back.

We had dinner here before going to the seebühne. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful with us not understanding german. The food was great. Even one person in our party, who’s a picky eater, really enjoyed his mushroom pasta. He said it sort of made him angry, because it was made with things he usually doesn’t love, so he was confused as to why he loved it so much. That alone should be enough as a recommendation of this place.

The ambiance is very cozy and intimate. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food. We all also enjoyed watching the waiters work as we were so impressed with how well and efficiently they made everything work. Well worth visiting if you are in Bregenz. Especially if you are going to the opera, as they were very quick with their service so you don’t have to rush away to the stage.

Even tho there was no more mussels when we arrived the dishes were delicious, especially the fries with truffles. The service was fast and really nice as well as the live music that was playing in the background. An amazing experience for a really decent price!

Jeee-sus, what a great place. Been here for a business meeting last Saturday. We had a wonderful time - and even though I enjoyed the few sun ray we had sitting outside, I was stunned on my way to the bathroom, what a beautiful place!

Then, the food: we just had appetizers which were amazing but whatever I saw looked and smelled fingerpicking good. The service was great with a good sense of humor. Sadly, we had to leave for Munich - and I wish I had stayed.

One of the best places I have been to in years. I will definitely come back, and yes, I would be more than willing to do a 30+ min detour just to dine here. Keep it up!
