Hotel Donauhof

Great small family run hotel by the Donau. Rooms offer good amenities and the service is on point and friendly. The restaurant offers good quality food. Definitely worth a stay if your in the area! ⭐

The rooms are nice and my worry about the road that passes strictly in front of the hotel was unfounded. The triple pane windows are great.
Food in the restaurant is very good, food could be warmer when it gets on the table.
Just one waiter for the whole breakfast buffet is not enough.

A family-run hotel, very kids friendly (e.g. kids menu, activities for kids while waiting for food to arrive, owners easily interacting with kids). great location for trips with bike or ship, bike garage. Owners very friendly. Room comfortable with big bathroom. Great local food at the restaurant. Overall, an excellent experience.

What a surprise. Such a traditional looking hotel from the outside. Even after entering the front door you're kind of expecting musty dark four poster bedrooms. Thought the entrance looks welcoming, I was still expecting to be handed a big old iron key to my room.
Stand back in awe or what! Bright and modern corridor leading to my room and what a delete that was, so technologically up-to-date. Video monitoring for your room door instead of a little hole in the door. Programmable music in the bathroom, that starts as soon as you insert your room card. A well nice little touch. All nice and clean.

A really nice place to stay, went there by bicycle. Rooms are nice and comfortable, even with a massage bed :) dinner and breakfast were excellent and so was the service.

This hotel is the old and not big one, but the room is clean with good service. This is near Melk and besides the Danube River with so many nice walking streets around.

I can't imagine a group of people more committed to making your stay wonderful. This is a family business and it shows. We thoughly enjoyed or stay with Family Pichler and will return in the future.

Ein ausgesprochen nettes, familiäres Hotel, wo man merkt, dass die Belegschaft mit Herz bei der Sache ist. Sehr viel Hilfsbereitschaft durften wir als Seminargruppe und Trainer erfahren, das Essen war gut und mehr als reichlich, die MitarbeiterInnen stets bemüht und freundlich. Die Zimmer waren warm und sauber. Alles bestens. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten hier einen Zwischenstopp eingelegt. Süßspeisen sehr schmackhaft. Preise eher etwas teurer.

Bin mit Bus und Reisegruppe am 29.923 nach sehr frühem Start von Vorarlberg angekommen! Ich fahre den Bus! Sofort konnte ich den Bus parken und ab ins absolut mega schöne und moderne Zimmer schlafen gehen während die Gäste bei Ihren Vorträgen waren. Mega Top Service! Es war ein wunderschönes Wochenende. Es ist Empfehlenswert. Angefangen vom Reichaltigen Frühstück bis hin zu Essen. Vom Risottoreis mit Fisch werd ich noch lange dran denken. Auch die Angestellten im Service, können sich manch andere ne Scheibe abschneide. Immer sehr freundlich. Danke an alle für das schöne Wochenende.

Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau. Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten mit Halbpension gebucht und das 4 Gang Menü war jedes mal sehr gut auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und für jeden was dabei. Die Chefin des Hauses war auch sehr hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Den Donau Hof kann man weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ein schönes und sehr gemütliches Hotel. Die Zimmer sind modern aber gemütlich eingerichtet und das Bad ist wirklich schön. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen.
Da komm ich gerne wieder.

Мы ехали из Украины, в которой идёт война. Здесь мы нашли понимание и домашний уют. Большая благодарность хозяевам и персоналу! Очень удобный номер, прекрасно выспались на мягких кроватях, а утром нас ждал потрясающий завтрак! Очень рекомендую всем этот отель!
