Die Tauplitz Ski Resort

Loved the place - varied, but not overwhelming, very nice slopes. We went to all the three ski resorts around (Loser Aussee, Dachstein/Krippenstein), and this was by far the best!

Could have a few more signs for better orientation.

Very serene 25 minute ride on the chairlift to the top of the mountain. It's very peaceful and quiet. Several options for hikes at the top of the mountain. Beware that the lift closes for a lunch break between noon and one o'clock (summer time). Worked out perfect for me because during that time I enjoyed lunch at the restaurant at the bottom of the lift (Die Tauplitzerin).

Awesome place if you are looking for a typical Austrian village to rest, ski and enjoy the immensity of Mother Nature.
There are lodging facilities everywhere in the mountains, which make the place unique: you can get to your hotel in snowmobile and wake up.in the middle of the a mountain. That is incredible!

Smaller resort, visible that it has been established some time ago, but still nice. Most of slopes are on south side, so if there is sunny weather, the snow gets loose around noon. At the end of the day it is nice to go to Bad Mitendorf to Grimme Therme.

We spend a few day here every year. It is a calm village wirh a breathtaking surround. We love this place very much. There are restaurantes, a Spar supermarket, grocery and sport shops as well. During the winter season there is a scheduled skibus to the skilift.

Great resort, and some great pistes. I would avoid this resort though if, its your first time skiing

This place is a "must visit" place also in summer. Just gorgeous with breathtaking landscapes

Not a very big ski domain but very well organised & maintained, enough places to eat&drink on slope side. Also, great sun facing, wide downhill slopes.
