Restaurant on Piburger lake

Excellent fish restaurant with a view of the lake, good atmosphere, excellent service, very tasty food

Only one hour from Hotel Ritzlerhof you’ll find this quaint lake with boat rental, swimming and a typical Austrian restaurant. The cheese soup is fabulous with Preiselbeeren and the Schnitzel very thin, to top it off with a nice ice coffee and home made Apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce. Sit outside and observe the fish. Good resting spot on a nice day during your hike.

Beautiful views and great food

Absolutely perfect. Wonderful and nice staff who knew very good English. Food was cooked perfectly, the drinks where great. The view if the lake is stunningly beautiful, highly recommend!

As a family of 5 , We took the schnitzel dishes
2 for kids and 1 adult dish, and also the chicken salad, was great ands very tasty. The services is also very good, for desert we took the apple strudels which was excellent , we added cream and vanilla iced cream.

A lovely picturesque alpine lake. Good for a small outing for young and old: swimming, walks, food and drinks in summer, and ice-skating in winter.

Lovely place to eat, swim among the fish or take a boat trip. If you want to go in or on the water you have to pay to go in. If not, you can visit the restaurant alone. The restaurant and the water part are strictly divided, but you can also eat on the water part. There are a lot of fish in the water and there is also a floating platform in the lake. For the kids there is a small part with a slide to play in the water. There is no sand or a beach at this place. On the other side of the lake there is a small place where you can enter the water, but not really a beach.

Wonderful place for great lake views the views make it worth the effort. The food and service were good but the location is wonderful.

The staff is extremely courteous and the food is nothing but exceptional. The restaurant patio has stunning lake view. Highly recommended place for visit.
