Modern ski arena. Lots of slopes. Cable cars are fine but not as modern as for instance at Saalbach. Still recommended

Brilliant place, beautiful views all around.
Very good for kids even with small children. Plenty activity, places to walk, games to play.
Nice restaurant with the views to the mountains.

Absolutely loved it. Best play areas for kids, so much to do, water play, climbing, parks, trampolines, fabulously well designed place, and all very clean and well maintained......., amazing views, nice restaurant, just a fantastic space to spend the day outdoors with the kids. 10 /10
We walked across the top from ellmau to schefal in 45 minutes.. got the lift back down and free bus at the bottom back to our car at ellmau .
Tips ..
Your accommodation should give you a guest card, use this to get discount when you Buy your lift pass at the entrance to the ski lifts .
Take water shoes / clothes that dry easily ...lots of water play areas for kids .
Take picnic / water ( ask at the bar to refill your kids water bottles for free )
Check time for Last lifts down or you will have to walk down ( 2 hrs ish)
Take a camera ...so many amazing views !

Great place with nice restaurants up on the hills. You can rent everything from the entrance. It costs you around 40-50 euros if you are renting everything. If not it wouldn’t cost much. Slopes are great for skiing and there are many places for you to train as well

Great! Perfect weather! We didn't ski, but we did hike around in the snow which was fun too. A beautiful little town. Famous for the TV Series " Bergdoktor"

Spectacular views and lots for the kids to do. Easy hikes to other mountains with good food and now kid friendly spaces

Great, modern facility. Ski shop and lifts were very nice. Extremely good heated lockers for rent. Brand new. Ski runs were will groomed and lots of fun. Good for kids and beginners, and fun for intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

SkiWelt and Wilden Kaiser is just great! We really enjoyed Ellmau (and Dutch apres-ski cafe Fabels), Scheffau and other places in the area. The Eiberg is fabulous! Unfortunately, we had a warm week which turned the snow on the lower pistes into slush. We will definitely return again!

Lovely resort with access to very friendly blue slopes as well as tougher reds and blacks. Highly recommended for groups with loads of bars restaurants and cafes amongst the slopes. Looking forward to returning

Great place for ski! Central point is crawdy but on slopes are not so many people.

The biggest and most versatile ski regions I've ever been to. It has something for every level of skier/snowboarder and every nationality! Easy access because it is not to high up; we never had to use chains on our wheels. Just a great place to go!

A not-to-miss experience! Great for all levels of skiing.

One of the better resorts I've been to. A large variety of slopes. There's plenty of blue ones and also a number of great red ones. The routes are all marked and you can stumble upon maps or direction signs frequently. The lifts are very comfortable. There's nothing I could see as a deal-breaker. Strongly recommend this place.

Huge ski area in Austria. Even when skiing in the highest session, you have many slopes and lifts not to stay in time consuming queue

Spent a great week here in December. Modern facility with plenty of room on the lifts and the slopes. Heated lockers at the ski shop were a big plus. Good ski schools, too!

Location was just right for us. Village food and drink excellent. Free bus services to slopes and local villages.

Ski Arena with slopes to suit every taste and capability. Good lifts with usually moderate waiting times. Slopes are prepared well, and staff are friendly and helpful. On a sunny day, some spectacular views of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. For me, staying in Ellmau is best, as the village is within walking distance of the slopes and you can easily nip across to the other places for a varied day's skiing.

Very nice ski resort with 280 km of slopes. Well equipped cabins and lifts. Nice restaurants. Lockers in the station. The big minus is that they charge 5 EUR for parking of I'm not mistaken
