Kaiserbad Ellmau

The Kaiserbad is a truly wonderful complex of pools and other sports, there is an indoor pool and two outside, one of which is a 'natural' pool: unheated and untreated, swimming with dragonflies. There are flumes and a wide undulating slide and a whirlpool. There are also wide grassy areas, some with shade, and umbrellas and sunloungers for hire, and a children's play area. And that's just the swimming stuff. There is also a climbing wall, takeaway and restaurant, and a naked sauna. Behind it rises the Wilder Kaiser, amazing views. It's served by the Kaiserjet, get there early on a hot day, it's VERY popular.

We went here twice during a holiday, it was really great place to go, the second time the Outdoor pool was closed suddenly due to an incoming thunderstorm but indoor pool and flames stayed open

Wonderful swimming pool for families and a great restaurant to eat at afterwards

Went to the climbing hall which was almost empty on a rainy weekday evening. Well thought out routes, the walls are quite high and the bouldering area big enough. Everything is clean, showers were impeccable. Personnel at reception was friendly. I thought some of the routes were graded too low, but that is very subjective and its not a complaint. Really enjoyed this climbing gym!

Great place to relax after skiing day.

Good to find this place after skiing. In sauna zone in every sauna you must go naked, be shure you like it or can do tihis. It is upset that there are no saunas in pool area to get warmer.....but respect to the owner to have place like this.

Lovely clean swimming pool with slides. Outdoor pool so cold though.... and lake even colder!! Restaurant great and the banana cake is wunderbar!

Excellent indoor rock climbing. Many routes, few people, good for all levels.

Excellent place to take the family. Clean, good facilities, amazing views to the mountains, outdoor and indoor pools, jumping boards into a natural water pool and playgrounds for all ages. The slides vary and are great for any age. The kids area is awesome too. Would definitely return.

Clean and quiet swimming pool. Lots to do for children and was a great experience to swim outdoor in the snow!

Great place to spend a day. We went there in july on a sunny monday at 12. It was almost empty for the first 2 hours but later more people came. Its clean and very well kept. Our three kids (5,9,11) had a great time and there was something for all. There is outdoor pools for adults, teens and small kids with slides and jumps. And a big play ground. Inside are 3 waterslides that ends outside in a heated pool that extends inside. Inside theres a water play ground, kids pool and spa bath. 2 restaurants with ok food (pizza, fries, sausage ect.)
Fair prices as well.

Essential after long and tough ski day! Pool and waterslides for kids (parents as well). Very good sauna (variouse types including block sauna and pools outside). Be aware - sauna "naked".

My children love the Kaiserbad. Even in bad weather, an experience. In summer, there is also a lake, perfect. The sauna world is also recommended. Great price......

Perfect place to have a real relax, everything is big, confortable and clean, we spend 2/3 hours after ski from 7 to 10 pm and i spent around 15€!!!
