Hotel Post Hönigwirt

We enjoyed every minute of our four-day stay at the Hotel Post in Kirchschlag. Every day, I slept like a king. The same is neither true for the Hilton in Toronto nor the four-star hotel in Mostar from which we just checked out to continue our travel.

Hotel Post is like a chain with no weak links. Everything is perfect, and while staying there, we felt like family. My wife appreciated that there was an elevator, and I loved the pillow, which was key to getting a good night's sleep every night.

I can highly recommend this hotel and restaurant! I can't say a wrong word about it. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival. We could use the elevator to get to our floor and the rooms. The rooms are spacious, tidy, clean and with everything you'd expect at such price point. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, withing a short hike's range is the castle ruin of Kirchschlag. The town as such has many shops (a great bakery almost next to the hotel) and 2 supermarkets and has also a lot of pretty architecture.
The real highlight for me and my family was the food. When you stay at the hotel you can get a 3-course menu + a salad for 16€ (drinks are not included)! That is cheap for what you get. The quality of service (staff, taste, presentation) is superb. We all agreed that it is a literall culinary experience which you'll hardly get at any restaurant near this price range. All the meals were tasty, balanced and very interesting. You could choose from a dish with meat or vegetarian. The vegetarian options weren't just some simplified meat recipes but original and unusual combinations of ingredients, which often we didn't know.
One evening the owner of this family legacy hotel came to us and checked if we are satisfied. He offered us a welcome glass of champagne on the house. We felt welcome and very comfortable.

Service is very good.

Very good food, though a bit too salty, but still acceptable, the hall and dining rooms are very well decorated. The atmosphere is great. Warmly recommended.

If you are looking for Fresh cooked meal I highly recommended this restaurant, warm atmosphere and very affordable price..
If you are a fan of Extreme spicy chilli you should ask chilli its freshly made from their backyard garden.

Very good food and friendly staff. The Somlauer Nockler cake was delicious!

Bike Tour Flanagans

Kirchschlag in der Buckligen Welt. War dieses Jahr im Herbst zweimal dort mit Gruppen beim Fritz zu Gast. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Ort. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Lasst euch vom Fritz die Umgebung zeigen und genießt die dortige Österreichische Küche!! Gerne wieder👌👍

Bardzo klimatyczny hotel. Personel miły. Pokoje czyste, łóżka wygodne. Zlokalizowane przy drodze. Brakowało mi trochę klimatyzacji ale przy otwartym oknie nie było źle. Śniadanie w formie szwedzkiego stoły podstawowe produkty. Niestety nie było kiełbasek czy jajecznicy. Ogólnie polecam. Posiada windę co może być przydatne dla starszych osób i nie tylko.

sehr schönes Hotel; man schläft wunderbar in den Betten - Frühstück, da muss ich sagen, selten so ein wundervolles - vorallem GUTSCHMECKENDES Frühstück gesehen wo .... alles in allem sehr fein - komme bestimmt wieder!!

Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag in dem Hotel auf einem Seminar.

Das Hotel liegt im Ortskern. Alles was man brauchen könnte (Drogerie, Spar, Eisdiele) ist somit locker zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für die Anreise waren wir froh, dass wir ein Auto hatten. Öffentliche Anbindungen nur sehr spärlich vorhanden.

Das Essen war gut. Solide Hausmannskost. An einem Tag war die Suppe allerdings sehr salzig.
Der Service war schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Hotel selbst ist modern-rustikal gestaltet. Man merkt, dass es ein mit Liebe und Leidenschaft geführter Familienbetrieb ist. Das ganze Ambiente ist sehr familiär und persönlich.

Wir waren mit Freunden, die öfter zu Gast sind zum Mittagessen. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Insgesamt stimmiges Ambiente. Freundliches und aufmerksames aber unaufdringliches Personal. Wir hatten geschmacklich feine Hausmannskost (aber es gibt auch Schmankerln auf der Karte). Ordentlich und gleichzeitig serviert. Keine Warterei auch beim abservieren. Preise etwas gehoben aber durchaus noch angemessen

Essen,Bedienung, Atmosphäre, Angebot AUSGEZEICHNET! Wir kommen natürlich gerne wieder!

War heute das erste Mal mit meinen Eltern in diesem Hotel- Restaurant zu Gast und ich war sehr erfreut über diesen hervorragenden Service. Auch die Speisen und die Getränke kann ich sehr empfehlen und auch die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend und hat immer ein offenes Ohr für die Wünsche der Gäste. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder als Gast her und wenn ich mal ein Hotelzimmer für Freunde oder für mich benötigen würde, dann würde ich dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.
