Karwendel Camping

Lovely people at a lovely spot! I am biketouring and they let me camp super last-minute (even though it was actually fully booked). Thank you so much! Also, huge bonus: the toilets and showers are modern and clean. Can recommend.

Very nice campsite, one of the few who wanted to reserve us a one night stay (we're bikepacking) in the Achensee area. Toilets and showers are freshly renovated and super clean. The kitchen closes at 8pm so make sure not to miss the dinner like we have!

Very nice and clean campsite. We arrived in the evening and without reservation we got a place to stay with our campervan. Facelities are new and clean. There is a restaurant with the possibility to buy fresh pastry in the morning.

The price is fair for what you get in the area.
One campervan VW T4, 2 adults and 2kids= 49€/night.

Amazing camping experience. Great view on the mountains. Very close to great swimming places at the Achensee. Everything is properly clean (toilets, showers). Cozy place for a tent under a tree. Very close to the playground, which was great for kids.

A very well run campsite with excellent facilities. It is a short walk to the lake, village and lake boat. Nice bar and restaurant onsite too.
Pitches are a bit small but adequate.

Very friendly staff, I pulled in late at night and slept out of my car and was only charged 15 euros. Plus there are nice showers, a fitness room and washing machines!

This camp was absolutelly top! Very friendly staff, lovely place for our tent, calm and very friendly for our kids. Amazing playground, clean bathroom with toilet for small kids.

Spent a night there with a campervan. Very nice camping, toilets and showers were very clean and spacious. Total price was 34€ for two people and campervan, including tourist tax. Electricity was not used but it was 0,8€/kWh. Area is good for camping, pretty close to the lake. Not much to do around in winter though.

This campground was great, beautiful and quiet. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was yummy (two vegetarian options... but still more than most!), And the location was fantastic with walking distance to the lake, hiking trails, climbing routes, and the village/grocery. Additionally there's bus station right in front of the campground. The bathrooms were very nice and the showers are newly renovated. My only suggestion is when the campground is at full capacity, the toilets could use one more cleaning per day. Trotzdem, thanks for a great stay!!!

A great camping site. Clear bath rooms, nice environment. Very close to the lake. We enjoyed staying there a lot. I would recommend a private bathroom.

We found it on Booking portal, reserved apartma for 2 people and it was amazing - completely new, clean, and really really nice, people were really nice and nature around Maurach and Achensee is amazing!

Das neue Sanitärgebäude ist richtig toll geworden, es gibt auch einen Fitnessraum, eine Terrasse und sogar eine Hundedusche! Lage nicht direkt am See, wodurch es ruhiger ist, was ich persönlich sehr zu schätzen weiß. Ich war bereits einige Jahre als Camper hier und habe mir diesmal eine Ferienwohnung gemietet. Die Wohnungen sind wunderschön. Ich liebe diesen Ort und werde sicher noch öfter herkommen! :)

Schöner kleiner Campingplatz, mit Super. Blick auf die Berge. Neue Sanitäranlagen, aber kein Föhn bei den Damen und Herren. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt auf diesem Campingplatz! Die Einrichtungen waren makellos sauber, insbesondere die Sanitäranlagen wirkten wie neu. Die Dame an der Rezeption war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders für Wintercamper ist dieser Platz ideal, da die Duschen, der Trockenraum und die Toiletten angenehm warm beheizt sind. Unser Camper fühlte sich hier sehr wohl. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz. Freundlicher Empfang, die sanitären Anlagen sind super neu und sehr sauber. Direkt am Platz ein Restaurant mit sehr schmackhaften Speisen. Brötchenservice vor Ort. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen.
