Alpencamp Kötschach-Mauthen

Wonderful camping.We've been here last year in the summer and now decided to come once again for the New Year holidays and didn't regret it! Very clean and tidy, there is everything you need.It's worthy to noting separately the friendly and always ready to help staff and Chief! They even pick us up and drive to ski slopes😊 The location is very beautiful, the river, pools and mountains - everything is wonderful.In winter, there are saunas which are very nice .In general- very satisfied, will come again for sure!

Exceptional campsite with exceptional hosts. Located in a lovely town, we enjoyed hiking, bike riding and great food within a short distance of the campsite. Bathrooms were spotless, the whole campsite was immaculate and the host went above and beyond with every question we had. 100% reccomend.

We stayed here for 3 nights in our motorhome. 10 minutes walk to supermarket & restaurants. By the river for walks & bike rides. Toilets & showers were spotlessly clean. All staff very friendly, speak English & very helpful. 100% recommend

Stayed here during winter from 31st Jan-1st Feb 2023. Stunning views. Water and electricity available. We also had free wifi! There was 4KW free electricity, free water and there is also a dump point. Paid about €34 including tourist tax (we are from Singapore). Restrooms were clean and we were given a lot of great recommendation. Very friendly and accommodating host as well. Will definitely recommend to our friends and come again in the summer if possible.

we have never been to such a beautiful and hospitable campsite! At this campsite you are not a number but really a person!

You can see from everything that it is run with great passion by Seb and his team! at the campsite you can enjoy the real peace under beautiful trees. The campsite is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are always very clean. In the village of Kötschach-Mauthen there is actually everything you need shops but also very good restaurants.

We are sure to return to this beautiful campsite in the future!

I spent 3 nights in a tent during my first stay in Kärnten at Alpencamp, and would have definitely stayed longer. Very clean, well equipped camping, and last but not least great service by the team!
The camping is located in a nice area, with mountains around, and offers a lot of opportunities (bakery orders, biking, e-car chargers,…).

Very kind people. Washing area very clean. Total Corona proof. Nice breakfast. Welcomes drink is apple juice. We arrived in the evening because to tired to drive further. Glad we stopped. Very nice.

Nice campsite large pitches. Very clean toilet and showers. There is a restaurant at the side of the camp site. Serves very good food . Short walk to the supermarket. Three to choose from. Well worth a stay if in the area owners speak English. Would stay again . Great views of the mountains.

Wonderful campsite, owners speak English. Level pitches in an orchard, quiet peaceful site, lovely riverside walk. Clean facilities. Free bus pass, good WiFi. invited to watch their apple pressing. Wonderful opportunity and sold in their shop.

Best camping we have been to in our holiday. The pitches are spacious, the facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. But best of all is the help at the camping. The people are very nice and always willing to help with advise. A very very big recommendation

I have been to a lot of camping sites in my life, but none like Alpencamp in Kötschach-Mauthen. The host Josef is the most welcoming and warmhearted host You will ever encounter. If You have think of customerservice - Josef has it all. The campsite has a good location for different activities like biking or hiking the mountains, rafting on the river or enjoying the good cuisine in the region. The campsite has all the amenities that You need. I will visit again. Thank You Josef + team. All the best from Denmark

Alpencamp is really a gem – it's got a stunning location with a view looking at beautiful mountains, it's cozy (not overly big) yet it's got excellent services, the sanitary facilities are modern and clean, the whole operation is eco-friendly and green. (We could not try the wellness bit due to the COVID situation, but from the photos it looks very promising too.) And I must not forget to mention the "boss", Sepp Kolbitsch, who is in more than one place at a single second, being very helpful, cheerful, clearly enjoying his job. I really do recommend this place, go see for yourselves.

Stayed here for a week at end of june lovely site very clean toilets and shower area used as a base camp lots to do with in an hours drive.
