Alpenseebad Mondsee

Wonderful beach on the lake with excellent facilities, lots of options for kids to have fun, like a nice sand area, water slides, splash pool for small kids, floating trampoline and others. There is a canteen which offers decent food (pizza, sausage, Pommes) in affordable prices.
There is a large parking area right outside.
Can definitely recommend it!

Lovely spot, right near Mondsee city centre, really close to a lot of parking lots.
We drove 20 minutes from Salzburg to reach this place, quite near to the city.
It is very complex, it has a small library, different spots to take a swimming, diving decks and a lot of greenery with trees.
Loved it. Will definitely come here more often.
The water is crystal clean and the view with the mountains& hills is amazing.
Totally recommended!

FAVORITE HIDDEN GEM
I am in love with this lake! I’ve gone multiple times and I want to keep going back. The variety of in-water entertainment available keeps your mind occupied, but you also get a chance to relax on the several floating docks situated around the Schwimmbad. Everyone should go here if they have the chance to, it’s only €7 for admission (€5 after 13:00)!

There is a bufet with surprisingly tasty french fries a grilled chicken, but what is really fantastic about this place are the water atractions. My favorite was the jumping platform which was quite high. These atractions make it a great place to visit with kids or teens.

Great place for families on a hot day. Parking is free (300m from the beach entrance). Entrance is relatively cheap (~3€ per child, 5 per adult).You can spend the entire day on the well maintained facilities. This lake beach includes water slides, trampoline (in the water), 3 and 5m jumps, in-water climbing wall and much more. You can relax on the wide grass surface and the cafeteria offers nice drinks.

Really quite place. Nice views. There is a bot and it will take you see the whole lake within a 50m ride.

Nice family beach. Lots to do for families. Kids have a blast. Nice restaurant. Beach charges 4€ entrance fees.

We were here in December so no swimming but the lake is beautiful and we enjoyed the Christmas market.

Georgous area. So clean. Great views in the area. We were lucky a choir were practicing in the church. It was magical.

This is the most beautiful place from Austria, every time I travel there I get fulfilled with calm and happiness. Is over 10 years and every time I rediscover this amazing place. First time was like a dream I arrived on the night and in the morning I was surprised with the beauties of this place
