Mondsee is a quaint little place which shouldn’t be missed. The chef of this restaurant is simply outstanding and we would highly recommend this place. We had roasted beef and whole fish and cheese strudel … all exceptional

Excellent Austrian food (the real one, not the tourist trap) and a restaurant fool of local people. Good meal for kids for 7 euro with freshly made fish fingers. Beer 3.5 euro a pint, pretty good price. Definitely worth it.

Fantastic restaurant in the middle of Mondsee with a competent and friendly service. The pumpkin dumplings with sage butter and beetroot ragout were incredibly delicious and I can highly recommend the Powidl Profesen as a dessert!

Very good food, tried a variety with friends and sat outside under the canopy. Our table tried all the soups and they really were amazing . We were really impressed with the portion of our strudel, it was huge!

Very friendly service. They had the menu written in a German / Austrian dialect and we found it fun to try and figure out the menu items (we know German but some words were not known). The waitress had some fun with us explaining what we did not quite understand, and we managed to get our order done with a laugh on our face. The food was very good and the beer excellent. We wanted to try out the Austrian dishes and although we are not especially impressed with this cuisine (schnitzel, potatoes, etc), the food quality was really great. I highly recommend the place for the fantastic service, friendly staff, great atmosphere and very good food quality.

Wonderful little place if you're in Mondsee on a tour. They have daily specials (cheap and delicious) and a full menu. Had a chicken cordon bleu that was great. Give it a try!
