Curators are advised to know that in tourism, photos are gold, and sometime just photos atracts larger crowds. I have a say: "things that are not visited, does not exist!"
The lack of evidence that the site has something to show, will give the general impression that there is nothing to visit, and some of tourists will skip the site for the bigger price, named Schloss Hof.

The best features of Niederweiden:
-the great hall's frescoes with garden, birds and Chinoiserie. This pattern was a favourite of Maria Theresa's especially in her final years as she felt the disconfort of the summer.
-the huge roof that was restaured being covered with shingle, a rarity.
-sometimes you can be the single one visiting the site.

Beautiful small Castle in Lower Austria. In the Entrance building there is a kitchen that shows you cooking in the Baroque Aera.
You will find an Exhibition in the first floor that fits with Schloss Hof ones. Nice garden in the backyard for having a coffee break.

Small, but very nice palace nearby much larger Schloss Hof palace. There is a lot of parking space and friendly staff. The palace itself looks like a standard museum. There is also a small garden and a café inside palace grounds.

It is not as amazing as Schloss Hof but it was only opened this year. The ladies in the ticket office are very friendly and cheerful.

Less known than Schloss Hof, Schloss Niederweiden is definitely worth a visit, and the current Sissi exhibition is excellently assembled and very thoughtful arranged and organized. Perfect to visit even now thanks to a one-way security concept to avoid close encounters when walking through the exhibit.

A nice castle with intresting infos,tehere is a hidden gem in the garden , the old road to the castle was between trees .

Great Place and must see on the tour to the Hof palace. The hunting rooms and the exhibition on the emporer Franz Josef and empress Sisi proofed themself.

Das Schloss Niederweiden ist in der Nähe von Schloss Hof und man kann mit einer Eintrittskarte beide Schlosser besichtigen. Schloß Niederweiden ist natürlich wesentlich kleiner, aber trotzdem einen Besuch wert. Bei uns war gerade die Ausstellung, das Tafelsilber des Kaisers. Leider durfte man hier nicht fotografieren. In einem Nebengebäude befindet sich die Wildküche, hier darf man fotografieren. Ein Besuch ist jedenfalls empfehlenswert, speziell in Verbindung mit Schloss Hof.

Ein wunderschönes Barockschloss im Marchfeld. Durch die Sonderausstellung "Kaiserliche Tafelschätze" führte der Kurator selbst - fundiert, sympathisch, mit viel Hintergrundwissen! Ich habe außerdem viel dazugelernt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Pekný zámok s veľkou záhradou, fontánami, zvieratkami (osly, kozy, ťavy, kone) a syslami (oplatí sa doniesť arašidy alebo zeleninku, budú vám žrať z ruky a nechajú sa aj pohladkať). Je tu aj statok, stajne, zeleninová a ovocná záhradka a množstvo hospodárskych budov. Oplatí sa tam ísť a vidieť to.

Liebevoll gepflegtes Schloss mit kleiner Parkanlage. Hier werden Ausstellungen präsentiert....mit der Eintrittskarte von Schloss Hof kann man die Ausstellungen des Schlosses besichtigen.

V rámci okruhu piatich zámkou kúsok za Hainburgom sa určite oplatí ísť pozrieť aj tento nádherný zámok. Príjemné miesto na oddych.

Schönes kleines ehemaliges Jagdschloss im Marchfeld, gleich bei Schloss Hof. Mir gefällt besonders der große Saal, der mit floralen Malereien dekoriert ist. Immer wieder interessante Ausstellungen. Mir hat besonders die Ausstellung über die kaiserliche Tafelkultur gefallen. Auch die historische Wildküche in einem Nebengebäude ist interessant. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und schön bepflanzt. Stimmiges Ensemble.

Süßes Renaissance- später Barockschloss mit gepflegtem kleinen Garten; von der Schlossausstattung ist leider nichts erhalten geblieben, daher beherbergt es laufend Ausstellungen; zur Zeit gibt es eine Sissi-Ausstellung mit tollen Exponaten (Bilder, Fotos, Porzellan, Kleider & Schuhe, ...); es ist alles gut beschrieben und im Einbahnsystem zugänglich - alternativ kann man am Wochenende auch an einer Führung teilnehmen. Frau Thüringer war top! Absolut sehenswert.

Небольшой замок у дороги. Территория маленькая. За час можно посмотреть все. Туалеты есть и в замке, и на улице. На территории имеется кафе, охотничий домик. До Шлоссхоф и обратно ходит бесплатный автобус, так как входной билет действителен в оба замка.

Sehr schönes Schloss, gepflegte Anlage, Garten und interessante Wildküche. Ich war dort und habe mir die Austellung "Kaiserin Sissi" angesehen. Es empfiehlt sich, dass Schloss Niederweiden in Kombination mit dem Schloss Hof zu besuchen, der Eintritt ist im Ticket inkludiert. Die Sissi Ausstellung ist gut gestaltet und informativ.
