We got the mixed grill for 2 people. Plenty of food even if hungry. Great flavours and lots of fries as well. Then had the Malakofftorte for sweet. Again very tasty and well made!

The food was very good, we had pork schnitzel and cutlet. The service was good and the atmosphere was Austrian like. You can find board games and darts.

Delicious food, great value, very friendly service. A place where you feel the chef really cares about making tasty dishes. Traditional regional cuisine done right. Come hungry after a day of hiking or skiing so you can finish the generous portions and still be able to sample the desserts.

It’s worth to walk 10 minutes from ski slope to find nd this typical styrian restaurant in town. Very good food and kind service!

Food here was excellent! We had the day’s menu and it was quite a generous portion and tasty for a relatively small price (14,5 €) We also had extra dessert (besides the one in the menu) and it was delicious! We strongly recommend the venue for dinner or lunch!

So we had a coffee and desserts before going to Stuhleck and lunch on the way back.
Very spacious restaurant with a unique local design, gives a really countryside feeling.
This is the ultimate place to heat, freshly made food, fresh ingredients and very very tasty food.
Service is very good and efficient and above all warm welcoming and kind.
Prices are very reasonable and dishes are very generous.
Sorry again for spilling the juice on the banch.

Friendly and cozy place. The food was good, particularly the steak. Decent side dishes with a bit of a room for improvement.

Great desserts (ice cream cup "Heisse Liebe") and fair pricing overall.

Last but not least: super polite and friendly staff that allowed us late ordering. Thank you.

I visited this restaurant in March 2020. Everything was perfect. Nice interior.
Dear Austrian people,
How can you cook the schnitzel so soft? I live in Hungary (but I am not hungarian) and the schnitzel is a popular dish here as well. But I never eat schnitzel in Hungary. Because they can't cook it well. If I go to Austria I always eat schnitzel, because you know how to cook it :))

The food in this little local gem is of a very good and consistent standard. The staff are only too happy to oblige and will offer assistance in translating the menu or altering it to suit individual requests.

The decor is old worldie and looks like Heidi would be right at home with the carved wooden ceilings and the hunters animals around the picture frame rail. This restaurant is a very cosy step back into a bi-gone era with food that is certainly always good. Many locals from other towns and villages have highly recommended this restaurant to us and is well worth visiting if you are in the area.
