Hotel Metzgerwirt

It is our second time here. Rooms are spacious and food is really good. Sometimes European hotel rooms can be tight but not this one. Only 10 minute to Alpendorf ski and the town is quiet and cute. Highly recommend if you want to place to ski and relax!

The hotel is located on the beautiful main square. It is very nicely designed, rooms are nice, clean, facilitated with all you can expect including bath slippers and robes. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a parking if you come with a car. Breakfast was good and there is also a very nice restaurant/ bar for the evening with good food.
Note: if you are not eating pork you will find chicken schnitzel or salad with chicken in the restaurant.
Will definitely return.

Exceptional hotel housed in an authentic Austrian building. The room was well equipped, tastefully decorated and had a large safe. The hotel is part of the village square and just across the road is a row of beautiful buildings providing a supermarket, bakery, pub, cafe and tourist information point. The staff where always friendly and polite. We enjoyed breakfast but could have been improved with a cooked veggie option. This hotel has a good atmosphere and I would recommend.

amazing buffet. dinner was exceptional. great location, lovely views. waiters on 12.06 and the ladies at reception on 12.06 and 13.06 were super friendly and nice. spa hotel concept is great! hotel is clean, modern and fantastic. every touch is just exceptional. We will come here again definitely 😍

I was here before for dinner and had a good experience so tried it again this year. It was still great! Nice and very friendly staff, nice ambiance, very good food and reasonably priced! I will be back. All the best !

A true one of a kind hotel with a half pension concept. The room was very hot and without airconditioning making sleeping a bit hard. But the staff was very nice, always ready to help. Truly excellent food with a 5 course dinner and a complete breakfast. The location is ideal, making it a good starting point for your discovery of Salzburg.

Arrived late spring and it was gorgeous! Being the off-season worked out very well as all of the amenities were open, but there was little crowd. The staff was more than attentive, greeting us by name on the watching day there. There tons were comfortable, and well appointed. I really have nothing negative to say; I will definitely be returning!

I was in the restaurant and it's very nice, they have also a small play room for children which is very nice. Service very nice and food was good.

This is a wonderful hotel with a great restaurant. Super kid friendly and a very short drive to the ski slopes! Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Very good hotel. Our room was extremely clean with a nice view on the mountains. Their restaurant is also very good with a modern cuisine that should satisfy international clients like us. Last point, the staff is very nice and professional.

The room and bathroom were very nice. Great breakfast and dinner options. Very classy. There is a close parking lot, but they will have to show you how to get to it. There is a nice children's play area (with wifi) at the bottom of the stairs next to the reception desk.

A really great hotel right in the center of the village. Wonderful spacious rooms with nice bathrooms. Great breakfast and nice service. The value-for-money ratio is really good in this hotel.

Nice rooms and amazing dinning! Great for a ski escape. Direct ski bus to the slopes.
