Very good value and delicious. The local wine is tasty and the dishes are thoroughly Alpine. You may need some rudimentary German here since the menu is only in German.

Had a really pleasant stay there. The owner is extremely friendly, there is free wifi and you can get really good breakfast there.

I can recommend this place for traveling with a three year old, however there is no baby car so that would be slightly more troublesome but overall there aren't that many stairs.

There is also half a dozen parking spots which are free to use for guests.

Would absolutely stay there again.

Cosy room, kind staff and delicious food.

The owner of this guest house is very friendly. Even there might be a language barriers it was no problem as we manage to understand each other. Also he opened the bar even we were probably the last guests or late.
The price is very affordable, the beds are very comfortable and very clean.
It's located by very beautiful lake view and nature. So I recommend staying extra night or get early to explore the location as we regret it for only staying over night time when there are a lot to offer.
If the chance allows it, i would love to return here for sure.

In June 2018, we drove down to Austria with a Harley Davidsson Breakout 2016. We started from Luleå which is located in northern Sweden. After passing Germany we went via Prague down to Ebensee.
When we checked in at Gasthof Roitner we were offered a garage space for our motorcycle but placed it behind the hotel's brick wall well protected from view. We would guess that we became the hotel's snack bar that evening. We understood that they did not understand that we knew so much German :)
Two Swedes who traveled 3000 km on a Harley Davidsson and were going on to Austria. Charming and honest .. Dinner and breakfast were really good and the service was great!

Really nice place to stay. It's affordable, a short walk from Ebensee Landungsplatz train stop, and the food is great!

Fizemos a reserva em cima da hora pelo Booking para passar uma noite, chegamos a noite e fomos muito em recebidos. O senhor que nos atendeu foi a todo momento simpático e prestativo. Foi um preço muito bom, com um café da manhã com pães, queijos, ovos, suco e geleias. Recomendo pra quem estiver em Hallstatt e região.

Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker und die Leute sind sehr freundlich und haben einen freundlichen Humor zu den Gästen das ist so schön und macht es so gemütlich bei ihnen und in diesem Gasthof zu sein.
Wir werden sicher wieder dort hin kommen um zu Essen und Spaß zu haben.
Ng.Und bis bald wünschen ihnen Roman und Susanne Horner. Dankeschön für die schöne Gastfreundschaft !!

wir waren zum essen dort und es war vorzüglich. auch service und ambiente sehr empfehlenswert. parkplatz beim haus ebenfalls vorhanden.

Eine Preiswerte Unterkunft die ihr Geld absolut wert ist.
Sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet!
Essen macht der Hausherr selber und schmeckt sehr gut!
Preise dafür sind ok!
Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder ein Zimmer buchen, wenn wir in Österreich sind!

Super miejsce w przepięknej okolicy , pokoje czyste , zadbane , łazienka w pokoju na wyłączność , darmowe wf , darmowy parking , właściciel prze miły , śniadanie wliczone w cenę - świeże , smaczne !
Naprawdę polecam , wszystko tak jak powinno być :)

Wir sind für 2 Nächte hier.
Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sauber.
Das Bad könnte ein wenig größer sein, aber im Grunde reicht es aus und ist ebenfalls sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und lecker.
Im Gasthaus gibt es eine gute Küche, die ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist.

Nach Wanderung an den Langbathseen zufällig vorbei gekommen und eingekehrt. Der Wirt war nicht der Gesprächigste doch das Essen, wir hatten zwei Suppen und die Schweinswiener, war grundsolide und sehr lecker und das zu einem überaus fairen Preis. Ja und zum Schluss hat auch der Wirt doch noch mit uns gesprochen.
