Nice place with the simple but very tasty dishes. Huge playground. Highly recommended for the families with kids.

It is not cheap, it is not fast...... but it is (especially for kids), super cool!!! If you are there with a sunny day, take it very easy, you need to wait quite some time ...but the playground will make it very easy! ...in my opinion it is not meant (just) for a lunch but for a day!
The kind of food is very SuedSteiermark & regional & traditional i.e. Backhendl is a must try!

The Gasthaus Griesbauer is a great traditional restaurant in the green belt of Graz. This place is located at the city limits therefore very idyllic when it comes to nature. Here you can have a perfect time out from busy city life. You will get many of the traditional and authentic local food of the Styrian/Austrian cuisine. When the weather is right you can even sit outside in the fine guest garden with many tables under the trees. As for meal, we had a Breaded Fried Chicken with Bread Dumpling and a Fried Liver with Jam and of course we had a table in the patio under the trees. The Griesbauer is quite popular for multiple reason.

Super backhendl

Super Gasthaus und bekannt für seine köstlichen Backhendl. Der Spielplatz ist auch etwas Besonderes, das man sonst nicht oft findet. Die anderen Speisen(Salate, Suppen usw.) sind auch von hoher Qualität.

Nicht nur das Essen ist einzigartig, sondern auch das Erlebnis. Liebevoll gestalteter Spielplatz und schöne Wanderwege.

Wir waren heute mit der Familie essen. Es war wirklich traumhaft. Der Spielplatz für die Kinder, einfach super. Und das Essen war grandios. Leider habe ich vergessen, nach dem Rezept für den sehr guten Kartoffelsalat zu fragen. Und der Service, war immer aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Ich empfehle das Lokal auf jeden Fall weiter.
