3 star hotel, 5 star restaurant. We had an incredible Christmas dinner here. I cannot appreciate enough. Very friendly staff too.

Rooms are comfy and there is a modest wellness area.

That could be nice if there was a fireplace and a larger lobby kind of area for spending some more time during long nights until bed time.

We were here for a bit more than a week early January 2020. It did not happen often in my life that I was visiting the same hotel year after year for holidays but with Moserwirt it is something we look forward to every year. It feels like coming home, the total package of the hotel, its atmosphere, the great food, nice rooms with good beds and on top of that the great service of both owners and their staff makes it visits we really look forward to!

Also this year there were again new things in the hotel as we notice every year bigger and/or smaller changes have been made to further improve the guests well-being and comfort.

All food presented, whether at breakfast or dinner, is simply looking and tasting great. The choice at breakfast is very extensive with many EKO and local/regional products.
A joy to leave one's bed and enjoy the breakfast.
The lunches and dinners we had were all, again, so tasty that even when we thought of trying out another restaurant for a change we asked ourselves whether it would really be better than what we get served here? The answer is rather simple for us so basically we end up having dinner in the hotel every night and we always finish with a very satisfied feeling!!
The deserts are quite "tricky", not because of the quality but because they are so tasty, hence they are difficult to withstand! If we are not a bit careful we could end up with quite some additional kilos after our holidays! :-)

What is especially impressive is the unbelievable team work of the owners and all their staff. Every day we observed how, especially during the dinner hours when the restaurant was full all the time, the whole team worked like mad but always in a good mood. Despite the high workload we again never noticed any stress or otherwise. A pleasure to watch this streamlined team!!

The rooms were as usual impecably clean with good and comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with a good shower.

We are already looking forward to our next year's holiday!! And no doubt Moserwirt will be our place to stay!!

A real PEARL! newly built and opened (2021) it was spotless, it is funky/modern, the view is to die for, the parking is easy, access to hotel is easy, we had a room with access to a bathroom for lesser abled people. Usually the bathrooms are then full of ugly things, but this was stylish, modern and beautifully done. The hotel has access to the vernicular to the castle, (really worth seeing ) and from there a vernicular slap-bang into the centre of Heidelberg. It was the perfect ending for us, after a great holiday. When tourism picks up again, it'll be difficult to find a room here, I'm sure. Thank you, friendly and empathetic staff... We loved the experience.

The food was great! They use regional food and have a variety of different meals (typical Austrian food, a curry, vegetarian, gluten free,) ai that everyone can find something to eat. The desserts are great as well, they even have homemade ice cream. The waiters where nice and the food didn't take long eventhough they where full.
Parking space is nearby but it was pretty full. There are other parking spaces all over Maria alm with just a few minutes walking distance.
Everything eased wheelchair accessible though I am not completely sure about the toilets.

Great food, friendly staff and perfect location. Will be back!

Visited the restaurant and had an excellent experience. Try minestrone, pastrami and grüner veltliner. You will not make a mistake!

The food is delicious and the style is really nice.

Very good option for vegan/vegetarian food in Maria Alm. The soups, vegan chocolate cake and the sorbets to top it off were amazing. Definitely recommended for vegetarian food lovers in this part of the world.

Great food great service, and no long waits. If you're in Maria Alm Austria I would highly recommend you to go there!!! Don't go to Bachwirt tho'their food is horrible.....

Childeren had a very good pizza, the parents a good, fresh burger and a mixed grill which was also excellent. And not too expensive.
