Rapanui

Arguably one of the best ice creams in the whole of Argentina (ask for the sambayón flavor, which is not shown, but it is to die for!) and definitely one of the best and best known brands in choccolate. This is their main location in Bariloche (so big it even has an ice skating ring inside, open year-round). It is very well organized and even if you have to wait for your food, you can do so sitting down comfortably and a buzzer will let you know when your order is ready (there is no table service, but honestly: who cares?). Also, don't overlook the savory treats, especially those made at the moment (so not the sandwiches) like the waffle with avocado, bacon and other goodies, a hit!, and the Mexican quesadilla. Admittedly, Rapanui isn't the first place that comes to mind when you crave a Mexican quesadilla, but it is very good nonetheless. If you eat the savory dishes, though, I think you owe it to yourself to finish your meal with one of their outstanding gelatos or at least a choccolate treat. Highly recommended.

They have the best alfajores here. My favorite are the ones made with almond with dulce de leche and covered in milk chocolate. The place is huge, with a cafe, ice rink, and restaurant. I got the toasted pan de miga and it was delicious.

100% recommended, and if chocolate or gellato is your weakness, it's the best place to go.
Beautiful ambiance, huge flavor options for both gelatto and chocolates, Delicious "Mil Hojas" Gelato is chocolate with dulce de leche. There is also a small skating ring where you can skate until you drop for US$20.

Simply the best ice cream shop in Bariloche if not the whole Argentina.

Their chocolates made my day and gave me so much energy after hiking. Must try the chocolate covered frozen strawberry. You can easily finish the whole box by yourself before you knew!!! Just amazing creation.

I've had my fair share of hot chocolates in my life but this is one of the best.

This place has everything! We set for a coffee and some cakes and it was delicious! They serve all coffees with chocolate bites. Really recommended to buy chocolate from the store

Excellent ice cream! Dulce de leche ice cream was amazing (best I had in Argentina, and anywhere). Cafeteria in the back was good. Clean bathrooms. And chocolate store was well stocked and very good chocolate.

We’ve tried most of the big ice cream chains during our time in Argentina and Rapanui is our favourite. The texture we’ve found is thicker and creamier than the others. Standout flavours were the classic chocolate & classic dulce de leche!

It is a huge combination of a cafe+chocolate shop+icecream shop+ice skating rink. They are all seperated with decor walls. We didnt shop chocolates but at the cafe we ordered one coffee with chocolate and one with dulce de leche, both taste really good and we tried a chocolate mousse cake which had amazing texture and not overwhelming sweetness. Just perfect!
Later we passed to the ice cream section inside to try some. We had el calafate blueberry and rapanuino chocolate ice cream. Very rich flavors, delicious ice cream!

Not sure if the ice-cream is the best in Bariloche as I haven't tried them all but to me they are great. Many flavours to choose from - 80% dark chocolate and coconut combo is divine, just like a Bounty bar. Great selection of chocolates at decent prices too.

They have several branches in Buenos Aires so if you haven't tried everything you wanted and you're heading towards the capital, you can get back to it over there.

The Fran Nui, hot chocolate, ice cream, chocolate bars, alfajores are all so great. And there's a stake rink. Probably Santas favorite chocolate shop, so certainly one of my favorites as well

One of the best ice cream places in the world for sure. We got Tyr dulce de leche. Don't know how they do it. But it works. Super must Try place.

Loved it! I went almost every day to eat ice cream! Delicious! One time order waffles and milkshake, they were terrific. The texture of the Milkshake is the real one not like the one served in Rapanui Retiro, CABA.

Must visit; large, excellent concept. The best ice cream!

The place is huge, tried the hot chocolate and ice skated. Good plan if you have nothing specific in mind or it’s raining and you need shelter.

The best chocolate experience in BARILOCHE. Always crowded, recommended to come in the early morning.
