Plaza España

Probably the prettiest square among the 5 plazas in downtown area. The design and architecture elements are consistent to provide a uniform atmosphere. Seems to be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike daily. good for relaxing and people watching.

Well-maintained elegant square in the center of Mendoza. It's dedicated to Spain and replicates sevillan decorations.

Beautiful park and water. Very nice for afternoon strolls and relaxing.

One of the four parks/squares situated around Mendoza's main square. All four are different in terms of architecture, structure, materials and general look and feel. A walk between the 4 parks is well worth it.

Beautiful plaza. One of four around Independence Park. The tile work here is amazing: complete murals with individual hand crafted tiles; sidewalks with accent tiles. The whole park was clean, peaceful and welcoming.

Pleasant relaxing plaza.

Clean and renewed classic in Mendoza. I Enjoyed it for years when I was a student in Mendoza, the bar in the corner. Now as an expat, visiting Mendoza once or twice a year, Plaza España is a must. Excellent for meeting/sightseeing people, beautiful women (and probably men). Inside there is a big Spanish fountain, and a clean playground for kids. My daughter loved it.

Our favourite square in Mendoza. Really a work of art. There's not much going on, it's just a square to enjoy being outdoors, no markets no group trainings as far as we know.

One of the most beautiful squares in the City of Mendoza . All made with portugueses tiles. It was rebuilt 2 times but always conserving the the same mural and the same structure. The fountain in the center give a fresh air. If you are waking around the city in Summer and need a break, go to seat in front if the fountain in the shadow and will get the best break! This is my favorite square in Mendoza.

Beautiful gardens and night lighting. Nice decoration of seats and walkways. A very good place for a rest or a good chat.

Best of the 4 plazas around San Martin. Love the adulejo tiling and botanical name placards for the trees. There were lovers enjoying picnics and beverages as well as skateboarders taking pictures of one another while practicing tricks. It is kept in good shape and clean. The small decorated tiles between the terra Cotta tiles are wonderful!
