Hin Areni Winery

Great wine tasting it comes with crackers and bits of cheese too! The tour could have been better, the tour started with bottle making and packing before the actual making of wine from the grapes. There could have also been photos or illustrations of how the vineyard looks like during the tour. But otherwise everything is good and understandable with the new winery.

Had an informative visit of the winery before tasting and all that for about 1,000 per person which is worth it. The wine is still young but interestingly only made with local grape. We also bought some bottles to bring them back. Bottles are expensive compared to the same price v. quality in Europe but still quite unique to have Armenian wine.

We were guided by Lisa. She explained every detail about wine and answered all our doubts. Good wine, we even purchase 2 bottles.

wines are good..they said that every September annually,all the wine makers are gathered here,you can taste all of it😉

Одна из лучших виноделень в Армении - находится высоко в горах за полтора два часа от Еревана в солнечной долине - ноябрь может быть очень бархатным и мягким. Долина славится виноделием с древнейших времен. В Арени можно заказать дегустацию от белого, розового, красного вина выдержанных как в контейнерах из нержавейки так и бочках. Открытием стало розовое экспериментальное вино выдержанное в бочках - резерв. Еда тоже тут выше всяких похвал. Внимание после дегустации очень хочется кушать. Все кто любит и ценит вино и влюблен в Армению - добро пожаловать . Ваш гид на ощупь, Елена Климова.

Экскурсия по заводу и рассказ о процессе создания вина мне понравились больше чем дегустация. Не то, чтобы дегустация была плохая, просто в вине нужно немного разбираться, я же пил как воду. В любом случае, купить бутылку местного вина здесь будет разумнее чем в супермаркете :)
