Hotel Tradita

A lovely traditionally decorated hotel & restaurant with very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. We were there for New Year's Eve and they had live music, the musicians were amazing! The food was delicious and we had an awesome time! Kudos to everyone who put the event together and the staff for all their efforts! The hotel is in walking distance from the old town which makes it great for checking out the centre. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this remarkable hotel and was truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay.

Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. The room was immaculate, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The housekeeping staff deserves commendation for creating a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests.

Today, I took 2 friends for lunch. I had been there on a number of occasions.
Again our experiance was amazing. The trout with pumpkin sauce was so tasty and perfectly cooked as was the grilled trout and mixed meats. The herb potatoes were delicious.
The local red wine was one of the best I have had.
Well done to everyone for making our day so enjoyable.

We were so very impressed with this hidden gem in Shkodër; the rooms had a traditional feeling to them, but were also extremely clean and modern. We were amazed when we entered the room, from a cosy digital fire place to a beautifully and well equipped bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Our bedroom had a view on the inner garden with restaurant.

The restaurant was the most cosy we have found in the Northen part of Albania, with traditional live music of quality at night. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and even let us borrow a bike to quickly grab cash from the nearest ATM before our bus arrived. Breakfast is included in the price (a buffet), but because our bus left very early in the morning before the opening of the breakfast, we each got a carefully packed lunch pack including a fresh sandwich, a banana, yoghurt with spoon and a bottle of water.

We couldn't have had a better experience in Shkodër! The price for the room of 72 euros was a very good price for everything that is included. The restaurant food was great, but we especially loved the starters (the Tradita salad and the cheese in a pot with herbs). The meat in the main dishes was a bit overcooked, but that was honestly the case everywhere in Albania. The house wine was better than we have had at other places.

The food here is outstanding! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. It's a culinary delight that left our taste buds wanting more. 🤤🤤

Normal, market prices, all kinds of payment methods are accepted. 5 star rating. I highly recommend it!

The traditional restaurant was an absolute delight! The food was absolutely delicious, authentic and well-prepared. The service was great, staff were very attentive and friendly. To top it all off, the restaurant had live music which created an enjoyable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal, good service and live music.

Great traditional Albanian hotel and restaurant in a walkable location to downtown Shkoder. This was my second stay at hotel Tradita / Gek & Tosk and it was even better than the last. The rooms are comfortable and large, and the food is phenomenal. I am ready to go back for another breakfast!

I had my amazing lunch at Tradita restaurant, and it was just perfect! The food is tasty and rich with magical flavours! The service is excellent and so welcoming, especially by Ergys, who was so welcoming amd explained to us our meals happily! In addition to all that, the restautant itself is very cozy with wooden designs everywhere! ! I even forgot to take photos to the food as I was amazrd by thr beauty of the place, food and service ! Lovely place to spend hours at!

Great place for dining + staying! The entire place is traditional. Staff if friendly and accommodating. It is magical at night. Loved seeing families dancing and enjoying local music. The food is amazing!!! We found it reasonably priced. The rooms were clean/comfortable.

We loved our stay here! Highly recommend this historic home. The staff was very friendly and the food has all of the authentic dishes for the area served in a beautiful courtyard. Very lovely breakfast.

Really nice, very professionally run hotel in a beautiful old building packed with enough bits and bobs to make it a kind of ethnographic museum of its own. The restaurant is superb and though a little more expensive than most absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended if you like the sorts of things I do.
