“Te Culi” Slow Food dishes

So we ate here two days in a row when we were in Permet. The first night we both had the mixed casserole dish, which was a mix of the different dishes made that day. We had moussaka, stuffed peppers, a spinach and cheese dish, stuffed vine leaves and eggs with yogurt. All of it was delicious. The second night we had the stewed aubergine, veal steak and moussaka. So so good.

This is by far the best restaurant we have been to in our 2 weeks travel in Albania. The food is really amazing, and such good value too! The owners are very kind and offer us to look into their kitchen to see different kind of food they have available and offer us an option to try a bit of everything. We also order veal chop and beef soup . We thoroughly enjoy the meal here and would highly recommend to anyone who come to Permet.

Amazing experience! Upon arrival the owner took us into the kitchen and showed us all the foods that they had prepared for the day. Without much ado, we just got offered a plate of all of them mixed, which was an incredible introduction to home made Albanian food. You could really taste that the food was fresh and home made, it tasted how you would expect in an Albanian household. This restaurant might not be the best for a picky eater but for everybody open to try traditional food, it’s perfect! The owners don’t speak a word of English but conversations was still going very smooth and the owner is very welcoming. Great hospitality, definitely recommend!

In total we payed 1350lek for 2 full plates of food, a beer, a wine and a raki. Absolutely amazing price for this quality!

Local home kitchen with perfect made meals! If you are looking for Albanian home tasting- this is right place. We were invited to kitchen for have a look for food. Both owners take care for our feeling. After we ate very solid portions mix fresh food, we could enjoy sweet surprise from the house. Prices are for local. Highly recommended!!!

The best restaurant in Permët!

Went eating here after a long day at the thermal baths. Owners were the best! We didn't have a common language but they showed us all the foods that they had prepared for that day. They offered us a mix from all the food from that day and it was just amazing!

The most authentic Albanian food I have eaten. They even offered us dessert and it was delicious.

Friendly service and a traditional local cafe feeling atmosphere bordering on cramped. A wonderful stop to check out.

Best Albanian food I’ve had so far!! Also really cheap price and the kind man and woman who own the place show you in the kitchen what is on the menu that day. You can order a mix between al the dishes, would definitely recommend doing that if you wanna try a bit of everything.

This is how it should be done. Tiny but cosy place with tasty food for a fair price. Filled with locals here and I felt I was treated like one. Meat soup was delicious. The check came with a sweet plum desert. They spoke English.

The owners are just absolutely lovely, always smiling and really look after you, we only speak a little shqip so they let us look and order!

Everything we ate was unbelievable it's real home cooked food at amazing value some of the cheapest in albania and the best quality. Everything is super fresh and they only have so many dishes they've cooked on that day so it's a surprise everytime.

Homemade raki and wine is also excellent, your really missing out if you don't eat here, there's also a table round the side on a terrace overlooking the vjose river.

I can't reccomend a place enough this restaurant is a hidden gem here in Permet.

Tiny spot next to the bridge in Permet. Great food, cheap, friendly staff and probably the best white wine I had during my stay in Albania. Must stop if you are in the area.

Very tasty traditional and familiar cuisine. The waiter is very friendly. For 3€ I had a delicious soup. The food is super cheap.

Very nice place with traditional food. We could have a look in the kitchen to see what we wanted to eat; we got a mix of everything for a total of 1.400 Lekë including two drinks each. Very friendly people. Recommendation if you visit Permet!

Fantastic hearty albanian food in a cozy atmosphere. Lots of locals eating there, which is always a good sign. The food arrived quickly and the prices are very fair!

The best food we had in Albania, by far! I recommend the mix, you get to try many different dishes and it is plenty of food.
The owners are really friendly. They don't speak English and we don't speak Albanian but we understood each other no problem. A great dinner!

Best food I had in all of Albania! Do yourself a favor and order „a plate with a little bit of everything“ (available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian). So delicious. The chef invited us into her kitchen and let us have a look in all the pots… all local products, tasted like my grandma was cooking. Go there and eat!!!

Our FAVORITE place to eat during our trip in Albania. The food is all fresh made and delicious!! When we came each day, the lady showed us into the kitchen to show the options. There was such a variety of food and everything was perfect. We are on a budget so this place was perfect as the prices were so good we could eat well. And we got treated so well. We felt welcome each time we came. If you want to eat the best home made food made with love come here!! ❤ ❤
