We camped here in the winter and went rafting. The rafting after three days of rain was really fun and although it wasn't warm enough for swimming, I'd definitely recommend rafting and camping in the area.

From the campsite, we were able to bike to the canyon and rock climbing in Gjinkar.

Dona and Robert are very kind and generous and are so excited to host everyone. They are always working hard to improve their campsite.

We had a wonderful time at this campsite. Dona warmly welcomed us and helped us find good restaurants in the area. The sites were flat and quite large. The bathrooms were very clean. We did rafting with them on the Vjosa river which was good value! We would have needed a little more explanation before departure since we didn't know what to expect about the river, but the experience was really fun. I recommend this place to everyone!

Our favourite campsite on our tour of Albania. We got a warm welcome from the host and immediately felt at home. The campsite has a really relaxed and friendly feel. The toilet and shower facilities are basic but very clean and functional, with plentiful hot water. Good wifi at reception which also provides phone charging.

There is no lighting in the evening which means you get a fantastic show of stars.

The river is just over the road and there is a good swimming spot about 5 minutes walk away. They also offer rafting at a reasonable price which is a great way to see the river, though the rapids were quite tame.

Wow, seriously, no doubts – visit this camping! If you crave the true Albanian hospitality, Donna's place is a must. The warmth you feel here is beyond words. A warm welcome, delicious drinks (don’t forget to try the raki 🤪) and unbeatable atmosphere create an unforgettable experience. Thanks, Donna, for making it feel like a home away from home! 🙏🏼♥
We really hope we will be able to visit you again!

basic campsite, no electricity but dona makes that clear from the beginning. Toilets and shower were always clean. Dona was extremely nice and welcoming. No shop on site, but there were always cold drinks and ice cream available. There were also a few small cats and a very friendly dog. The rafting tour was definitely a highlight, as well as the river close by.

The only original rafting place in permet.
Others are new, with not much experience, and bad competitive that will try to hide this pearl from you. The place is very friendly compared to rafting and camping sites in the area.
Someone you can have a nice conversation with.
You are more a guest then client!

If you are looking for warm, lovely people this is the right address! The Hostess Donna is an absolute angel and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you enter the campsite. Good energy attracts good people - everyone camping there was open and nice! We had a really really good time, went for swims in the nice river close by and ordered some really good food from one of the restaurants right to the campsite. I could go on and on about our experience there, but you should go see for yourself! ❤

A great Campsite! Dona, the owner, welcomed us very warmly and gave us an introduction of the campsite, which is very basic yet nice. There is no electricity but you can charge your phone at the reception, where you can get cold drinks and ice cream. The toilets and showers are clean, but basic! We were amazed by the night sky and could see so many stars because there are hardly any lights nearby. The campsite offers rafting tours and other outdoor trips and I can only recommend them!

Dona's camping is a very unique place, in between mountains, the Vjosa river, Permet and the thermal baths. What makes it so special is not only its surroundings, its laid back, chill, hippie style vibes and atmosphere, but Dona herself, her energy and the extra care shown to all of her guests. I stayed at a camp's tent prepared with a comfy mattress, pillow, clean sheets and warm blankets. Slept like a baby and met amazing people during my stay. Dona thank you so much!!❤🙏 Hope to be back soon!!

This was our first rafting experience and it was super fun! It lasted about 3-4 hours with a stop to swim in the river and dive from the rocks. The view was truly breathtaking, unsurprisingly so since Vjosa is the last wild river in Europe. We absolutely recommend it if you are visiting this area!

We stayed for a couple of nights on a tour around Albania. We received a warm welcome from the owner Dona, who also clearly explained that that campsite is basic with no electricity - which we already knew and were happy with. The showers and toilets are basic but clean. There is drinks and ice cream available at the reception, which was great as it was super hot when we stayed. We also did rafting which was a highlight of our trip to Albania 👍

I went there rafting with a friend of mine. Definitely a must-do if you visit Përmet. The location is very close to the city and the staff is super friendly and helpful. You will feel welcomed and safe with the people and amazed by the views.

We enjoyed staying here (2 nights). It's basic, quiet with beautiful views. Donna is just a great host. She welcomed us warmly, accompanied by two cute kittens. The hotsprings are not far (5km) and when weather permits a hike in the gorge is to be recommended.
The campsite does not have electricity, but you can buy some cold drinks, showers were heated by sun. Apparantly good tours (hikes w guide, rafting ...) can be booked here. Heard positive stories.

This is a basic camping with backpacker vibes. We enjoyed it very much, spent here 4 nights with our kids.
The host, Dona is very helpful and kind.
The camping itself is quite natural, relatively large so we could freely choose a spot that suits us best. With enough distance to neighbors so we could relax and enjoy the sounds of crickets and birdsongs.
Amenities are "safari", simple, but kept clean an working.
We also booked rafting directly from the camping which was just amazing first time wild water fun for our 9 yrs old daughter.
If you are looking for a simple campground, don't worry about electricity and seek places with layed back easygoing people this is the place.

We did not stay overnight, but had an exceptional time rafting the Vjosa's whitewater.
Dona explained everything so patiently that us newbies felt happy to book a two-hour expedition. She's very kind, her crew is great, and the price was very fair! A high point of our trip to Albania.
(The camping area is very pleasant, with interesting and relaxed folks, by the way).

Great place run by a lovely lady! We stayed for two nights, though we would have stayed longer. She can help you out with anything you’d need to explore the area and she has amazing raki.

One of the best camping places we ever stayed in Balkan. Hosts are very friendly and always help you if you have a problem or questions. Toilets and showers are always clean and enough space for all campers. Nice people and travellers here and good energy around the camping place. You can order food from a restaurant and here is a fridge with drinks.

Very beautiful place in a great location. You can walk to the Vjosa for a swim in just a few minutes. Permet is nearby. Donna the host is a very kind and lovely person who helps with everything like organising river tours, transfers, tips for routes and things to do in the area.
Toilets and showers are clean. There is a fridge where cold drinks are always available.
Really enjoyed our stay in this welcoming and beautiful place and definitely recommend.
