Katerina's Bar

Extremely pleasant surprise in the middle of a multi day hike! Come for the hospitality and the beautiful setting, with multiple swallows nests right at the house. Good bed, good shower, and, I have buried the lede: the best food I've had in Albania!!! (The pictures do not do the food justice.) Also, the most lovely couple you will meet! Cannot recommend highly enough!

My fourth or fifth stay at Katerina's Bar (or in her Guest House which is just 5 minutes walk up the hill from the Katerina's bar - it's the same phone number and you can message them on Messenger like we did).

We received a very warm welcome from Katerina and Vladimir at their home. They provided everything we needed for 24 hours, and much more without asking.

They are very kind and friendly hosts, providing great country food, a spacious and spotless room, large and very comfortable bed, linen, towels, shower, and bottomless mountain chai, fresh cold water and coffee, in a spectacular mountain setting. Cold beer is available at a reasonable price and everything else is sourced locally, mostly from the garden, and is absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend a stay with Katerina and Vladi for a wonderful rural experience in breathtaking surroundings.

Ein kleines Paradies! Nur wer hier war, weiß was er verpasst hätte, wäre er nicht hier gewesen 👌

Wir waren heute ein zweites Mal hier und übernachten hier in unserem 4 x 4 Camper. Wir haben bisher noch nie so gut zu Abend gegessen wie heute. Alles mit Liebe gekocht und serviert. Absolut ruhig zum Schlafen. Und angenehm kühl 😉
