Thuan Phuoc Bridge

Thuan Phuoc Bridge in Da Nang, Vietnam, is a cool bridge that goes over the Han River. It looks awesome, especially at night when it lights up. People use it to get around the city, and it's also a neat spot to check out.

My favorite spot to have a walk and watch the vibrant city. Most beautiful in sunset time where there are many young people just sit down, have some snacks and hang out.

Thuan Phuoc Bridge is not only the most beautiful and longest bridge in Da Nang City but also is the most well-known bridge all over Vietnam and South East Asia countries I know. It is the most longest chain-bridge in the middle of Viet Nam.
From this bridge, visitors are able to see everything to Da Nang City and Han River because of its high level which is so high, even it's higher than a 30-floor building I guess.
However, with this high level, some people are afraid of the height, and winds always so strong at night. That's why you have to be carefully when going on this bridge.
Although it's a breathtaking bridge and maybe it's a symbol of Da Nang City, but there are a lot of stories talking about deaths from residents about this bridge.
Nowadays, visitors especially Chinese visitors usually make a tours to go to special places like Thuan Phuoc Bridge. I think it's ok as long as You don't believe in Ghost.

The Thuận Phước Bridge (Vietnamese: Cầu Thuận Phước) is a suspension bridge that crosses the lower Han River at Da Nang, Vietnam. The four-lane, three-span, bridge is 1,850 meters long and 18 meters wide, and has a main span of 405 meters. Its two major pillars are 80m in height. It is the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam, with total investment of nearly 1 trillion dong.The bridge was built with an estimated cost of VND 650 billion (about 42 million US dollars). Consulting firms from China, Cuba and Canada provided assistance.
The construction of the bridge, which began in 2003, was completed on 19 July 2009 when the Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung and many high-ranking government officials attended the inauguration ceremony.

Probably the longest bridge in Đà Nẵng. It’s nice to go cross and the view is great from here. Just come to go across at least once when you are in this city.

Most of people knows only dragon bridge, Han River Bridge. And Thuan Phuoc Bridge was beautiful too with various color change at night, or the sunset.

This bridge has nice lights and the view is very nice, especially during night.

The Thuan Phuoc Bridge is one of the newest and most important additions to Da Nang's transit system. With a main span of 650 m (2,133 ft) and a total length of 1,850 m (6,070 ft), the Thuan Phuoc Bridge is the largest suspension bridge in Vietnam, and connects Da Nang's city center with the urban district of Son Tra. The bridge took six years to construct. When it opened in July 2009, the bridge lighting consisted of a conventional flood lighting system complemented with low-power LED battens. As part of a citywide beautification initiative, the bridge's owners decided in 2012 to replace the bridge's original lighting system with a more durable, dynamic Philips Color Kinetics lighting solution.
The new lighting system had to be capable of washing the bridge with beautiful, controllable, color-changing light. Reliability was also an important design criterion, as the lighting system would have to withstand a variety of severe environmental conditions, including extreme heat, harsh winds, and salt water.
