Con Market

Con Market is for local, Han Market is for tourist.
Con Market is considered one of the symbols of Da Nang City.
Con Market is also referred to by the locals as “Culinary Paradise” because you may experience numerous delicious dishes there. From the indoor food court, which is open all day, to the food vendors that open in the afternoon next to the market gate, or even simply little snacks. This is a great place to choose dry souvenirs for family and friends in addition to eating there.
Cho Con was built in 1940. The word “Con” means “a high place”, referring to the dune on which the market was built. Cho Con boasts an impressive 2,000 stores and stalls within a site consisting of a 3-story building, two 2-story buildings and 6 big corners.

Very packed market here, it is like a V shaped place with the wet market area all the way in, with the dining area at the top left hand side if you see it as a inverted V. The walking space at the main areas get packed with more stalls with food and clothing n alot of stuff at around 5pm. So if you wanna avoid the crowd try to come before 4pm.

People there are friendly :) they help me out with finding Kem Bo and Dry squid in sweet & spicy sauce is so good.

An assault on the senses in the best way. Busy, loud, sensory overload so be warned if you dont like cramped places or have any social anxiety that may be triggered.

Just your basic street market where you can find just about anything. Also a butcher shop in the back area. Had a really good breakfast there at the Com Hong Quyen stall, see pics for details

Spacious and so many shops! A lot of good food as well. Probably take you a whole week and visit 3 times a day to try it all.
A lot of dried seafoods and gifts can be found here.
Take your time and always ask for the price firsr. Learn to make a fair negotiation. Walk to different shops and find the product you want then do the math of the average to negotiate.
Bring cold water during the summer because it's freaking humid and hot!!!!!!!

A good place to try Da Nang tasty local and authentic foods. The best part is all vendors are not fighting at each other to get the customers. Instead, they help each other out which is so nice to see.

It’s a local market, and you can find lots of local cuisines, clothes, and daily necessities here. But compared to Han Market, there’s less souvenir you can get here.

Fantastic place. The most wonderful part is that they have prices on the items they sell. It has a very Vietnamese vibe, and compared to touristy places, the locals don't really care about you and they are not trying to sell unnecessary stuff. But you can find everything there, so highly recommended!

buzzing market with lots of local food and things that nobody need ... very recommended -

Tourists come here to buy souvenirs. It’s cheap and variety. Even the market is locatd in the opposite side of Go! Supermarket but it’s also crowded as well as supermarket. Most of tourists want to enjoy the local life come here. 😊

Every time I visit this market, I only go there for one thing, it is its delicious yet affordable food court. I always got pork wraps here, both stalls that offer this dish are great. You can't really go wrong here. You can even ask the stall's staff that you're eating to order fresh orange juice for you as well. It's quite nice! Must visit!!

Busy but friendly market. Don’t forget to enjoy sweet soup, Thai durian sweet soup and avocado ice cream just so fantastic. Miss Con market, you miss Da Nang!

Awesome experience, delicious food with reasonable prices. Recommend to bring your hand sanitizer and tissue as they use paper here for napkins.

Best to bargain if do not agreed with the price just move on most of the time the seller will eventually agreed to the price that you want

This place is for everyone looking to explore the real vietnam. Every shop in the market is neatly stacked with a host of materials.

The food from the vendors is among the best street food I have had in Vietnam. A must visit for everyone.

A very good market place with a wide variety of goods

Lots of yummy food at the food court inside Con Market. Price is so cheap but food and fruit are delicious and fresh! Must come when you’re in Da Nang!
