Duy Phuong Homestay

Beautiful place with amazing views of the rice fields. We arrived there in October and the fields were already harvested but still beautiful. The food is amazing and with fair prices. They have motorbikes to rent for 250.000. We are really happy to stay here. There are many bugs so if you don't like them this is not a place for you.

Highly recommend a stay here for adventurous people! The huts are clean and cosy and the view is stunning! Great service and food is ok!

You must come and stay at this place. I have been to many different places in the world, but this magnificent breathtaking view of the rice terraces, mountains and a small village is absolutely the top three I have ever visited. The bangalow is simple, but clean and tidy and the food is good( cold beer looking down rice terraces tastes even better) and people here are very nice. Only a few hours from Mai Chau by motorcycle. Again, you must come and stay here.

We stayed two nights in this lovely homestay and enjoyed everything about it! The location is wonderful and as authentic as it gets. There aren’t many tourists, no shops, no commercials, but real homes from the people living here. You are surrounded by rice fields, authentic homes, the jungle and a river that has a waterfall just a 20 minutes walk from the home stay.

The room has a great view and a bed with a mosquito net, as well as a private bathroom. Everything was clean when we arrived.

We ate the best food that we’ve had so far in Vietnam here that was prepared by the son of the family. It was freshly prepared and was simply delicious.

We took a bus to Pu Luong and a taxi drive up to the home stay, a bit more complicated than going to touristic locations but it’s really worth it! I highly recommend going here.

We scored lucky booking this place and then reading the reviews! A gorgeous bungalow with incredible views, the food cooked by the carers is delicious!

Hand down to the best homestay I have ever experienced so far in my life. I thought a homestay we got in France has been the best one ever but nope. Everything changes when we spent couple of nights at Duy Phuong Homestay. Such a great experience!

Its just an authentic homestay in Puluong region. Uncle Phuong and his family are minority people staying in this high land area and they are super duper lovely and sincere. Their place is very spacious so you have space for car parking. The location may not be the most convenient as its not in the main center area but a bit further back. However, that makes it the most true authentic experience for living within the community of the minority people here as this area has not been commercialized yet like the one in the center with all the buildings and fancy facilities. We purposely booked this place as we want to stay away from the commercial homestays with big infinity pool and swing. We truly just want to experience the real environment and food here in Puluong and Duy Phuong homestay offers them all authentically.

The scenery from this homestay and my room is just extraordinary. You can check it from my photos. With rice fields and mountain, its just too peaceful and beautiful.

And the food is one of the best part too. Uncle Phuong's wife and his son helped to prepare and cook the meals for us. You can order them to cook the dishes that you like. They will recommend some traditional ones too. Price is good and the taste is heaven. Very authentic and super yummy food. I was so in love with the grilled pork - definitely a must here. We really enjoyed the grilled duck too. The vegetable soup was super good and sweet too. They said its a type of natural wild veggies from the forest nearby.

Price for the homestay is crazily cheap and include breakfast too. Cant be any better than this.

Best time to go is around end of May, early June when all the rice fields turn yellow. They are still incredibly magnificent even on green colour though.

Overall, best homestay in Puluong region and best one we have ever experienced so far. Cant recommend this homestay enough. If you are planning to go to Puluong, definitely should stay with uncle Phuong's family for the best authentic experience of this region.

Paradise. Unbeatable location in one of the most beautiful areas of the ridiculously beautiful Pu Luong. The family is incredibly nice and dinner was a real delicious banquet. They don't speak any English and there's hardly any internet (there's WiFi, but it's better not to depend on it as it works one tenth of the time, which adds to the charm of the location IMO), so be sure to download Google Translate or know some basic Vietnamese. The walks around the area are spectacular.

Loveliest homestay and family located in a beautiful area right next to Thac Hieu waterfalls. Delicious food and peaceful atmosphere.

Very nice homestay with wonderful landscape. The weather is so cool at night and I love it. Deserve to drop over there at least one time in life. 😘

Nice view and great hospitality! You even get to feed the deers here 😍 It isn't close to the main road but totally worth the walk :)

View đẹp, yên tĩnh, khá sạch sẽ, bị cái xa trung tâm nhưng đi xe máy trên đoạn đường vào homestay cũng là 1 trải nghiệm tuyệt vời. Nghe chủ homestay bảo ở đây ngắm đc bình minh và hoàng hôn nhưng mình đi trúng ngày mây nên ko ngắm đc gì cả :'( điểm trừ cho homestay là ko có khăn và đồ ăn thì ko đặc sắc với ng Việt, có phục vụ nước uống thảo mộc nhưng nước ko đc ngon và nặng mùi khói.

Vị trí Top View nhìn xuống ruộng bậc thang, thác Hiêu và bản Hêu. Đi bộ tới đầu nguồn thác Hêu khoảng 300m. Đồ ăn ngon. Gia đình anh chị chủ nhà nhiệt tình, thân thiện.

Chủ nhà thân thiện, nấu ăn ngon, đồ ăn Home rất đa dạng, cả ăn sáng và tối.
Home có view ruộng bậc thang từ trên cao, gần thác Hiêu và bản Hiêu, nên có thể đi loanh quanh ngắm bản, đồng lúa, thác.
Phòng cơ bản thoáng, phòng mình chỉ có quạt máy do thời tiết mát không cần điều hoà, nhưng nhà vệ sinh vòi hoa sen nước yếu, vì gần gũi thiên nhiên nên sẽ có nhiều côn trùng, đặt biệt mùa hè nên mọi người nên chuẩn bị thuốc trước nhé. Là nơi mình sẽ quay lại nếu có đến Pù Luông 🥰

Phòng nhà gỗ kiểu dân tộc Thái có view nhìn ra ruộng bậc thang , đồ ăn nhiều món đặc sản rất ngon , phục vụ tận tình và chu đáo chắc chắn sẽ quay lại nếu có dịp.

Phòng view rất đẹp, nhìn ra ruộng bậc thang của bản Hiêu. Chú Phương cùng người nhà rất thân thiện, tốt bụng, hướng dẫn tận tình. Phòng tiện nghi vừa đủ, giá cả hợp lý. Điểm trừ là việc bố trí bình nước nóng sử dụng chung giữa 2 phòng bungalow nên lượng nước nóng không đủ nếu tắm cùng lúc. Đường lên homestay đã có đường bê tông nhưng đường hơi hẹp khá khó lên với những người tay lái yếu.

Vị trí đẹp là một thứ đã khiến bạn không thể không tới đây một lần trong đời những món ăn đặc sản rất ngon mọi thứ xung quanh thác nước, bản làng, người dân đều rất tuyệt vời.
