Puluong Retreat

We stayed two nights at the retreat, we did a lot of walking in the area which was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a far cry from the hustle and bustle of Ha Giang loop road. Very tranquil place.

Visited a village with less than 100 people living in it, and went bamboo rafting on a tranquil river.

Food and service here were great, a very classy stay.

We stayed for one night. The resort is truly beautiful and the management are trying to keep in harmony with the environment. The rooms are spacious. Ours had a breathtaking view across the valley with rice fields below. It is quite high so we felt we were above the clouds in the morning. Thank you

Everything from the tour guide, to the property was amazing, Food is 5 star quality at a super cheap price. Johnny was amazing at taking care of us and helping us with anything we needed. I will definitely be back. My only regret is I wish I would of booked for an extra day

The restaurant is cozy. Food is amazing both Vietnamese and Western style. We come back twice for dinners.

Wow.. a postcard scenery type of retreat!! The shower cubicle needed some maintenance, but overall, this was a beautiful place, in the mountains..

Keep in mind their hot water is solar powered and will not be as hot in the evening. We were put in one of the back cottages and in the evening the next door was singing karaoke loudly. Other than that, the experience was good.

Excellent location and views from its infinite pools. Clean, lovely staff. Good food on its restaurant (hot pot recommended) and incredible breakfast!

For us the best piace in Vietnam. I recomend a visit. For us better than Sapa

Stunning location and beautiful views from the room. Great spot for day hikes and then cool off at the pool. Food and service was very good.

I really had a great time with their kind service. It is a nature-friendly bungalow.

There is a shuttle bus (D-car) service that can be used from Hanoi to the resort for a round trip. It takes about 4 hours one way. The food was delicious and in the evening we had a special atmosphere with great performances by the locals.
Above all, the views are great. If you want to get away from Hanoi and experience the quiet atmosphere, I recommend 2 days. It's a great stay for the price.

Over all, I strongly recommend if you expect something different, not the 5 stars hotel like the ordinary one.

This retreat is easy so beautiful and likes a gem in the heart of the village. Their staff are very good trained, they gave our group such a warm welcome, very helpful and really cheerful. Our room with the perfect view heading to the mountain and terrace fields. We could absolutely our romantic and calm morning without any stress from the busy life. There were small problem with the water (low water pressure) but it's okie, we were in the retreat, not in a modern city. We also spent a really good time together with their dinner, all the foods from locals and tasted wonderful. Save this retreat for your trip to Pu Luong, it's worthy.

Lovely Views. The food from the hotel are amazing. Had all my meals here for 3 days and have got all the food exceeded my expectations. Must try the duck. Hotel staffs, manager and owner are supper friendly and down to earth people. Will definitely coming back here.

Stayed in the dorms for 13$, all the resort is really peaceful! The staff is great and so polite. The view is stunning! Breakfast is rich and tasty! Undoubtedly the most alive hotel in puluong.

Unfortunately I stayed in the rainny wholeday.
But wonderful moutain view makes us happy. The outside of Pu luong retreat dont have more activities and restarant, we used restaurant and pool bar service in Puluong retreat, Mr Thinh, bartender always smile on his face, take care all time. Recommend to stay even the price is higher than others

Incredible resort. The food was delicious and the cocktails were tasty 😋 the room was perfect, comfy bed, inside & outside shower, balcony overlooking the beautiful ricefields and valley. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing setting, would have loved to extend our stay. Perfect for a romantic getaway or holiday trip out of the city with a friend 💜

They went above and beyond helped me recover a lost wallet by sending it back to Hanoi with a bus driver. They also helped us find a local mechanic to sort out some motorbike issues. As for the retreat itself, it does not disappoint, and while I also love the family-run smaller homestays, the retreat is perhaps better for guests who prioritize convenience and comfort over seclusion and budget. One downside however is they do often host large groups which can be noisy. Fortunately they strictly enforced quiet hours at 10pm.

Close to the natural, amazing sight seeing, peaceful, quite and private bungalow. Terraced field are thick and interminable. There are 2 infinity swimming pools with incredible views. And also a small bar there where you can enjoy a cocktail with terraced fields and mountains in front of you. It would be an experience which you will never forget.
The food is very delicious.
You can walk around to enjoy the fresh smell of air as well.
