Pu Luong Holiday

Stayed there for only a night before our Pu Luong marathon. The host was really friendly, he was one of the first homestay hosts in Pu Luong when tourism started to bloom. We had all local meals at the homestay and they were all so delicious!!! At night, you can also do star gazing as there were no lights at all on the street. The host was kind enough to let us check out late as we arrived back late from the run.

The only drawback though is this homestay is slightly far away from the more popular area of Pu Luong, so it took us some time to travel around. It’s nearby Hieu fall and there are free bicycles at the homestay that you can use to cycle around!

We didn’t stay in the homestay but took 2 tours with Ta which were the best! One hike and one by motor cycle! It was the best way for us to explore pu Luong! Highly recommend !

I've stayed here twice and I absolutely love it. Its quiet, nestled into the mountain side with exquisite views. The pool is spectacular. The rooms are clean. Meals are available on request. And the owner, Mr. Tá is such a gem and super helpful but also respectful of your privacy. Just a note that not all the beds are western styled, but thats pretty common in the Vietnam countryside.

Best stay while visiting Pu Luong. Van Ta is the best host and guide in the area, he can walk you through not very frequented trails to show you beauty of the country side,also mountain biking is crazily exiting. Food they serve is outstanding. Thank you for the awesome vacation.

In the quite village of pu luong, there is this great homestay. Even though the rooms weren't very clean, it was very special experience. Ta the host helped us with everything, and his wife made us special Vietnamese food. We played with their little daughters and had great time.
The rice field are very close to the homestay, and they are like no other in othe places in Vietnam. We had the privilege of watching and traveling alongside real local farmers harvesting the rice in a beautiful harmony, we also helped a little bit.

The homestay is hard to get to, and hard to get from, but worth the experience.

This is a wonderful homestay. I stumbled upon it and am so happy that I did! The location is superb (close to waterfalls), rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the owner Tá is funny and friendly (plus informative). He makes delicious food for you and makes you feel welcome. I would love to stay here again!

A charming bucolic little place that embodies the hospitality and spirit of a homestay. The views of misty mountains... the kindness of the owners... the endless valleys and waterfalls to explore... we will definitely be back!

I visited the Pu Luong Holiday Homestay for a night last month and it was a great experience! Mr. Ta could not have been more hospitable and accommodating, and I found everything very comfortable. Highlights included the best dinner of my 17-day motorbike trip, a short hike around the local villages, and a visit to a local family’s home for Tet festivities. I’d recommend anyone visiting the Pu Luong Nature Reserve stay with Mr. Ta. Great experience!

Really great homestay off the beaten track. The owner was very friendly and could speak good English and even better German!

Because no one else was here during my stay, he upgraded me to a private double room but only at the price of a dorm bed. The double room was in a bamboo hut which he had built, and was very picturesque.

The family dinner is a tad bit expensive (as is typical of any homestay). Prepare to be served plenty of home made rice wine!

I would recommend always using one of the provided mosquito nets as there are a lot of bugs here.

This homestay is clean, on very nice place. The bungalows are designed authenthicly, with kingsized, comfortable beds. And the prises are cheap. The host is very friendly, helpfull and a good chef, a perfect turistguide as well. I warmly recommend this homestay ti everyone, who would like to discover Pu Luong.

Stay here if you're in PL - Ta and his place is absolutely amazing! Great views, great bed, great food, great happy water ;). All for a reasonable price. Plus, if you're biking about in the north, Ta was once a tour guide so he can help you figure out where to go off to afterwards. My only neg is the dodgy internet, but you're in paradise and he said that he'll be getting proper internet in the next few months.

Stayed here for a night. The hosts are very nice, the food was awesome, Bananapancake & Coffee for breakfast!!! Location is 6 stars. If u want to stay in a local, quiet nature place, this is it. Recommend it!

High quality homestay in a quiet area. The owner is a polimath. Graduated as an electrical engineer, built the homestay with his hands, cooks well, leads tracking tours and of course a local guide (and team builder).

We enjoyed every moment of our stay here despite the rain ruining our afternoon program partly.

Note that a lighting system was setup to attract the bugs away from your room. Didn’t need the mosquito net at all.
Probably the best from Sapa, Ha Giang & Mai Chau put together.
Thumbs up to Mr. Tá who’s one of the best host I had in 10 years in VN.

Very good homestay!
It is located in a beautiful place, and the building is made by bamboo. Our room was clean and the host was very friendly and helpfull.
The food was excellent.

We loved it: quiet and away from the busy touristy villages, nice walk to the waterfall, along the paddy fields, and in the jungle, good food, good price, nice host👍🏻👌🏻🙏🏼

i’m feel so comfortable and the tour guide so enthusiam, there’re so many beautiful scenics to visit, delicous food!
